the other time was when i was about 11 and a white van with a drunk driver ran a red light and slammed into us. my dad had to be cut out and nearly lost his leg, i broke an arm and the hospital thought i might have some badass spinal damage. thankfully it was just the arm, but it was bloody scary. tis why i always try to be a safe (if fast...) driver, myself.

and i'd like to think that with a million or two, i'd pay off debts and the mortgage, and get back to work. but i just know i'd end up buying a Bentley (http://www.bentleymotors.com/Corporate/display.aspx?infid=201) and x many other flash, rich-guy things ;)

Not in the slightest. My Evil Ex was a dom, and was also exceedingly girly in many ways. (Heck, he looked cuter in a little black dress than I did!) The best way to learn a language is to use it a lot. So, either move to the Netherlands or Northern Belgium (my foreign friends tell me it's easier to understand Flemish than regular dutch). Or find some other people in your neighbourhood that know or try to learn dutch. Maybe your local university has courses in it.
