Seems every time im on here these days we have the age old war between believers and non believers...surely this topic has died a death? haha...it is highly unlikely that any of you will be able to sway your counterparts...

In a sense it's proof of god: Life after death *is* possible ;)

It may have a lot to do with the American political system at the moment. I mean you have the whole evangelical thing, the Christian Coalition and whatnot. It is ridiculous though. One thing I hate about not believing in God is how so many other atheists try to make a religion out of non-belief. If you want to believe in God, go right ahead. If you don't, fair enough also. Just leave each other be about it.

Hell, I have a few Jehovah's Witness friends. I find their religion interesting and I listen to what they have to say out of curiosity and interest. I may think it's a load of rubbish but that's beside the point because we're all allowed our own beliefs. If so many Christians have differing views of the exact nature of the New Testament between the denominations, how the hell are a bunch of atheists on NationStates going to work it out?

What i would find ironic is if this thread turns into a debate between religion and various others.
That's why i'm trying to change the threads to the big philosophical questions, while they are mostly unproven it's a nice change from God and all that.

i wasn't talking about religion, i was talking specifically about lines (little harmless lines, no not of drugs either, and don't relate that to penises either). and if you do talk about religion i think sex can be a seperate issue. I suppose religion might lead to sex at some point, but you could argue that about anything really.

What the ----- do you finish religious arguments by having sex? does not compute does not compute.
I think what you mean is they can be reaaaaally dull so having sex would liven them up. fair enough i suppose but what if that person is really ugly? or really dumb and you argue religion with them and they're stupid.

Just seems rather boring when you look on the first page and see about 8 threads on more or less the same subject...id actually make an effort to post new threads...used to do 'VITAL STATISTICS' threads with random questions to answer...might do one now actually ;)

Feh, it's a post-holiday thing. NSers rant about religion instead of getting depressed like normal people do around the winter holidays. But soon it will be spring, and the schools will let out, and the teenage racists will return, like daffodils. :)

i dont see why everyone argues about religion anyway...we'll all find out who was right when we die! so why waste what little time we have arguing about it?! :confused:
