The Fall Guy

German Nightmare

After I've waited about 25 years (since it first aired in Germany) to finally own a copy of my favorite childhood television show (the mailman has delivered Season I this morning) I simply have to ask NSG's opinion.

The Fall Guy: Great show or the greatest show?
Cannot think of a name

I'm not one to kiss and tell, but I've been seen with Sarah...

Such a brilliant 80s idea, stunt man who moonlights as a PI...a PI who solves his crimes with stunts...awesome...

I can only agree. I just finished watching 7 episodes (DVDs 1+2) and boy am I thrilled.

Still can't believe that my prayers have finally been heard.

"...it's only hay, hey hey!"

I remember it, but I always thought it was a bit crap. Not in the same league as Knight Rider or BJ & The Bear for instance. :p

Well, in my humble opinion The Fall Guy owns each and every other television show. ;)

I think you'll find that those of us of a certain vintage preferred Lee Majors in the 6 Million Dollar Man.

Ever wondered why the woman cost a million more?

I recall the show, too. And the SFX were funny!
Knightrider ftw.
At least Colt Seavers knew how to eat a burger properly...

I might jump an open drawbridge,
I might tarzan from a vine,
'Cause I'm the unknown stuntman
That made Eastwood look so fine.

That show sucked. The truck was the coolest character.

Well, too bad 'cause that ain't a choice in the poll.

I still think it's the greatest show, though. Teehee. :p

It is like every 80's show recently released on DVD. You watch it and think, "I don't remember this show being as cheesy as it seems now".

Quite the contrary - I enjoy it very much, especially since I can now watch it in English as well.

Besides - it's true that the studies have released pretty much each and every 80ies show except for this one.

I'm not making it up when I say that I've been waiting forever and ever for The Fall Guy to show up on the DVD market!

I always liked the Fall Guy. Magnum PI too.

Funny you should mention Magnum - he just had a cameo in an episode I finished watching. Coincidence? I think not! :p
