my iGoogle page dynamically changes to suit the time of day it is where I am, which is fine and all, but I am in a blue mood this time of day and it's orange and the only time it's pretty and blue is after I have gone to sleep.

I would like for someone on the other half of the earth to please provide me with a postal code so I can make Google think it's night time here when it's really day time.

I am too lazy to Google it, yes, I know the irony.

Also, I think Google should just let you choose the color scheme, and yes I emailed them about that.........numerous times.

So, what is your homepage? Does something about it bother you? Have you ever been in a blue mood and not been sad? Isn't orange ugly? Do you live on the other half of the world? Is it dark there? it's morning here, plz darkness ppl, I needz ur postal codez.

Here's the postcode for Google UK - hard to know your timezone but I think using a Google office postcode has a fun aspect to it :)

blank blank blankity blank

If I wanted it a certain colour, I suppose I'd put
javascript:document.body.style.backgroundColor='blue'; void(0)
(if I wanted blue)

100016 and 100020 are Chinese postal codes, so you might put one in, hopefully it won't think you're Chinese and censor your searches.

My home page is this forum.

Really? i don't think i could stand the constant arguments and opinionated judgements every day.
that's not to say this is bad but it can wear on you after a while.

iGoogle? I remember that. It seemed fair enough. I never got around to using it as I have my home page as www.guardian.co.uk or BBC news and I always use google via the google search bar in FF. The homepage lets me keep fairly on top of the news without too much effort.

iGoogle scares me...

my homepage is basic google at the moment because thats what the default is for firefox, though I might set it to the cola website and check the reactions of visitors to weed out the non-believers ;)

iGoogle has everything I need on my homepage, my email, the weather, my calendar, movie times, and my kid's blog.

exactly! cluttered with stuff I need to read and whatever passes for my web page organizing skills :p

I prefer simple things that don't change really, if I wanted clutter I would either use the MSN homepage or just click my bookmarks (though I am tempted to have this (http://users.telenet.be/leukelinks/flash/elmo.swf) as my homepage)

orange makes me think of conflict.

hmmm... orange is really calming to me. i know its odd, but i've always thought that. i have lots of orange lights at home, and i love sunsets largely because they're orange :D

my homepage is different for each browser too.
sadly most of my Opera speed-dials are work things :(

IE is sorta a mix, and FF is just for fun (with several hundered unorganised favourites i've saved while stumbling... ;))

Maybe it was the wrong type of orange. I really like the orange colour you get on terracotta clay. I love it. It was the colour I painted my bedroom walls as a kid. It looked great especially with the nexy blue curtains with an orange indian-esque pattern on them.
