Hello.
Myself and a few other guys started work on Sea Powers back in May of 2007. The game itself is a naval combat browser game taking place in the South Pacific during World War II. Sea Powers features fairly indepth nationbuilding, but focuses mainly on the military aspect of gameplay. Players are allowed to form themselves into squadrons of 8 for mutual protection. Sea Powers also features a fairly advanced economics system and ability to trade between nations. From the shipyard, players can buy over 50 different types of historically-accurate WWII era naval vessels for use against their enemies. If you're looking for a browser game with combat involved, Sea Powers is for you. :D
Just browsing through the forums (here), I recognize a lot of people who already play the game.

Mods: if there's a rule against advertising, apologies.
