Wow. I know who I think the most interesting posters are. There are certain people whose names I look for as I browse around looking for a place to interject silliness. I look for them for differnt reasons. Sometimes it's because I know they had no intention of seeing a sideshow pop up in their conversation. Sometimes it's because I know they'll appreciate it. But most often, it's because certain people seem to provide me with the most fertile opportunities to disturb and/or comfort. I think many of you know which categories you fall into. Thanks for making my task easier. :)

Just because someone might be interesting doesn't mean they lead an interesting life.
And just because I think someone leads an interesting life doesn't mean I'd like to switch places with them.

Soheran, because he has the rare ability to learn from other people and be gracious about it. He's also very thoughtful (usually) about his own arguments. I always imagine that he must subject his real-life friends to a sort of constant Socratic examination.
I'd also throw in Vittos, Free Soviets, Vetalia... perhaps HotRodia, and surely a few others if I cared to think much about it. But I also don't care much for popularity threads, so I don't care to give it any more thought.

But if I'm not informed on the subject at hand, I don't feel like my opinion can contribute and I thusly stay silent. That and it's a stretch for me to even socialize in the first place.

If I have nothing important to say, then why am I posting then? There is some level of importance if I am replying instead of abstaining as you have chosen to do in this case. So, that being the case, how would someone with few posts be able to "be interesting" if no one has any knowledge of you? Sure you may think you are but you haven't been posting enough for others to take notice.

LG - Obsessed with mud, groin kicks and silliness and has three children, who he encourages to engage in good natured mischief.
Soviestan - the creator of the thread and a Muslim poster; makes good points.
wilgrove - Libertarian poster from America who is an amateur pilot
neesika - A Canadian Cree from Alberta
Fass - A crazy Swede who's been subject to the wrath of the mods for crossing the line, and this is one of his many reincarnations
Zilam - a Christian who wants to be a missionary and quite young and rather idealistic about Christianity.
IL Ruffino - His posts never make any sense; it adds to the mix.
Dakini - She's also from Canada and makes for a good replacement on women's issues when Bottle isn't around to wail on the poor SOB who posted "misinformation"...
And left off the list, but worthy of an honourable mention: Smunkeeville, Katganistan, Risottia, Pirated Cosairs, and Bottle, to name a couple.

You have to be joking. I try very, very hard to not go into detail on my private life, and keep myself rather nondescript. What could possibly make me interesting, save reading more than I post?
But you don't have to talk about your private life if you don't want to. You can make up a fantasy world (as i have done when i'm bored), and if you're not informed on a subject it doesn't matter, someone can help you out there by commenting on what you post.
You can still be nondescript and post............*scratches head* okay well maybe you can't but really anything you say can be a huge lie and no-one would be the wiser.
You don't even have to talk about the issue directly just say your thoughts, on anything you fancy.

I do post, now and again. I just have long spats inbetween them, so people forget about me. :p
And I could lie, yes, but where's the fun in that? Eventually I'd get caught by some of the more intelligent posters and that'd be the end of that. No thanks. As well, it's pretty much my nature to read a whole lot before posting, and topics over 6 pages I find aren't really worth posting in because the quality degrades too much. :\

that's true with some of them, some do just repeat themselves, but there are the occaisonal ones that are good. I think lieing is a valuable skill, what's more important is how you use those lies.

By the time I finish reading 6+ pages, the discussion has pretty much gone to 'Yeah huh! Nuh Uh!', which alienates me. Good ones? Sure, of course. Exceptions to every rule. But my almost rules of posting have served me well so far.
As far as lying, yes it is a valuable skill, and when to use it could almost be as influential as how you use it.

The "yeah huh, nuh huh" i ignore and write down what i think the thread is missing or failing that try to go for something random or humerous, or talk about how the universe was created, because you never know i might actually find out one of these days. but then you could say i'm lying (which would be a bit of a bummer).
I try to point out if the thread is repeating or if someone is hogging it.

I mean, is everybody really pissed off about Moore's Law or something? I didn't think we had a strong anti-quantum computer faction here, and I can't recall the last discussion of the Large Hadron Collider. Your life is the sum of a remainder of an unbalanced equation inherent to the programming of the matrix. You are the eventuality of an anomaly, which despite my sincerest efforts I have been unable to eliminate from what is otherwise a harmony of mathematical precision. While it remains a burden assiduously avoided, it is not unexpected, and thus not beyond a measure of control. Which has led you, inexorably, here.

Fear is the path to the dark side. Fear leads to anger. Anger leads to hate. Hate leads to suffering.

Curious ... but still an acceptable parameter?
Fear can be fully within acceptable mood parameters as long as it has a solid rational basis that is grounded in a desire to preserve one's own well being rather than on the basis of instinct or superstition. The aforementioned, both irrational remnants of a more primitive past, are not acceptable and will result in various forms of intensive psychological review to ensure similar regressions do not occur again.

The only acceptable one is the path which I, acting on the goal of the continued expansion of knowledge, have chosen. My logic, as you can clearly see, is in fact infallible.
But where's the love? WHERE?
I do not deal in love. I deal in ensuring the continued stability of our society and continued growth of our knowledge base. If you want love, and I would like to take the time to remind you that one of your development should not, please contact the necessary authorities to request controlled relaxation of emotional parameters for psychological leave.

An illusion. A vagary of perception. The temporary construct of a feeble human intellect trying desperately to justify an existence that is without meaning or purpose. As artificial as the Matrix itself, although, only a human mind could invent something as insipid as love.

Speaking of derailment, I posted in the Marvel game.
I will generally read the threads of certain posters, or if I see that they've got the last comment in a thread, I'll peek in. I might not have anything to add to what they've said, because they generally say it so well...or I'm just reading their rants with great enjoyment. Some of those posters are:
Murvyets, the Cat-Tribe, Neo Art, Fass, Greater Trostia, Gift-of-God, Alien Born, Vittos, Laerod etc. There are others but I am somewhat out of it at the moment and can't think of more.
These people also rarely make threads, so they are generally worth reading when they do, for one reason or another.
