Email spam is a serious problem ... there are fairly accurate (to my experience) estimates that 95 percent of Email is spam.

Oops I wasn't suppose to send out "Chain Letter". I was suppose to send out "You won a Free Chainsaw":D Just kidding. Spam of both kinds is annoying and god awful in taste.

Unfortunately, enough people not only open it, but even act on it, to give spammers a nice income.

Well that's silly of them isn't it? I suppose the problem really is that too many people sign up to the internet and subscriptions etc. without a clue of what they are really doing.

Yep, so the solution to spam is not to ban the spam itself, but to ban those responding to it. Brilliant! :p
