Since I'm hungry and Love breakfast. Whats your perfect breakfast and dont hold back, I'm buying.

Four or five White Castle's Sausage Egg and Cheese burgers with a large coffee. Tons of cream, no sugar, and I prefer a dome lid.

Alternatively, I'll hit McDonalds for a couple Egg McMuffins and an Extra Large Coke Zero with almost no ice.

Plus sourdough toast, milk, piece of fruit and/or orange juice. For optimal results, ensure one's cooking oil is a decent Extra Virgin Olive.

Ohio Gozaimatsu, (Probably bastardized Japanese for: "Good Morning")

Waffles;
Covered in what ever gets you going...
Blueberries and sour-cream is strangely satisfing.

With a bowl of seasonal miso, topped off with a cup of green tea which has had room-mates of big chunks of ginger and ginsing, sweetened with honey.

I would have that every day if i could. :)

The perfect breakfast consists of Cinnamon Roll French Toast(That's where they split a cinnamon roll, and french toastify it. Words cannot describe... ), Corned Beef Hash and a hot buttered corn muffin with a big glass of pineapple juice.

The Greek Gods ate ambrosia because nobody invented cinnamon roll french toast yet. *nod*

- 3 Pancakes with choice of topping, preferably strawberries, but anything tasty works.
- Hash Browns with lots of salt and pepper.
- Bacon, ideally hickory smoked, but that's not always an option.
- Orange Juice, no pulp please.
- Coffee, preferably with sugar and milk, but I'll take what I can get.

Order that when eating breakfast at a restaurant...it's supremely satisfying and nearly impossible for even the greenest of cooks to screw up.

noodles and meat in a light broth. just as quick and mindlessly easy as all that sweet and or greasy crap most people seem to think their first meal of the day has to be.

that's my favorite and usual, especially when i'm by myself and making it for myself.

shrooms or tuna or a number of other high protien things can substitute for the meat too. just mainly the protien and the flavor to get me going.

and of course then, maybe some kind of desert for it, like cerial with chocklet, milk and a little coffee on it.

oh all sorts of other things are ok too.

i like as diverse and interesting a meal to start the day with, even more so, then what most people end it with.

the question was what do you prefer for your first meal of the day. what time of day, or night, you have it is of no pertinence.

break fast, breakfast, first meal after the fast of sleeping, i.e. one's first meal of the 'day'. day, one's own wake cycle, whatever it may be in relation to possitions of astronomical objects or anyone else's perceptions.

A proper English breakfast - beans, fried egg, sausage, bacon, hash brown, black pudding and fried bread. With a cup of tea to wash it down.

However, as I don't wish to suffer a heart attack, it's usually a bowl of cereal or toast.

I regularly have beans on toast. Best after a hangover.

There anything wrong with that? Admittedly, its isn't gourmet and I doubt you'd be offered that at a high class restuarant or hotel, but it is quick, easy and very filling. Ketchup, brown sauce or Worchestershire sauce can be added for taste.

At University, breakfast pizza for me. Nothing better than finishing off last night's midnight Meat Feast to soak up the leftover ethanol.

At home, something a bit more involved. Living in the UK with parents from the Southern USA, my ideal home breakfast consists of bacon, eggs, beans, sausage, biscuits, gravy and sometimes a bit of grilled mushroom. Good times.

.../\...Ok, so I am either at school or work so it is Mr Sub or Chicken/Turkey/Roast Beef wraps -- pretty much the best that is available at either place. Well the wraps aren't the best thing we sell as I work at a grocery store, the wraps are convenient. If it is dinner (which happens on the rare days I work a closing shift), I would have to say butter chicken with rice and some vegetable like asparagus or beans. It is one of the few times I will happily eat rice.

Depending on days, I range from just a cup of black tea (or black coffee) to the full monty.

I would call a "full monty" breakfast something like this:

appetiser: a glass of fruit juice and a bowl of yoghurt with honey
entrée: butter, salt and black pepper on a slice of black bread
first course: dry-cured ham or Milanese salame and butter on black bread
main course: selection of at least 3 different types of cheese on black bread
dessert: marmalade and peach jam on white bread, honey and butter on black bread, black tea, fruit salad if available

Most days, I have no taste for breakfast, not becoming hungry until I've been up for four hours or so. I drink lots of tea with milk.

This morning, very unusually, I cooked some porridge with nuts and dried fruit in it. I woke up hungry because I skipped dinner last night.

Rich breakfasts, with lots of fat and protein, sometimes tempt me but rather than "getting me going" they just stun me. Might as well just go back to bed ...

If I have to get up early:
Arabica coffe or Lady/Earl Gray leaf tea with lots of cream and demerara sugar.

If I feel hungry for sweets:
Pan Speziale (Italian honey bread) or Ceske buchty z makem (Czech muffins with poppy seed filling) and Arabica coffe or Lady/Earl Gray leaf tea with lots of cream and demerara sugar.

If I feel the need for salty:
Ryby Peprenky with sunflower bread and Arabica coffe or Lady/Earl Gray leaf tea with lots of cream and demerara sugar.

If it's particularly late when i get up:
Utopenci or stuffed Hermelin with pickles and beer. Also can be panino with speck and brie and a glass of wine.
A cup of Arabica coffe or Lady/Earl Gray leaf tea with lots of cream and demerara sugar on top of that.

Yeah, i do need my coffeine after waking up.

Think scones, but less cake-y. They are definitely more savoury, and are generally used to mop up excess gravy.

Wow, there certainly is a lot of difference between you all and some of the same, but I just didn't get the impression that you were going all out.

My perfect breakfast is two eggs benedict : one german style w/ braunschwieger schmeared on a english muffin with black forrest ham and a perfectly poached egg with a combo of gouda and brie cheese covered in jalapeno hollendaise sauce. The other one with being a maine special : english muffin with lobster, poached egg, canadian bacon covered in hollendaise topped with sea salt. a nice side of fresh fruit and homefries that are cooked well with lots of onions, a big french press of french roasted coffee, fresh squeezed OJ mixed with grapefruit and a bottle or two of champange, add a nice woodstove and the paper.

I also like heuvos rancheros and french pastries but not together.

boy I can't wait for lunch and don't get me started on dinner.
