Vacation! (Holiday..)

So it might only be January, but seeing as I'm considering traveling outside the country (passports need to be ordered way ahead, right?), I was wondering about all the different things I like to do.
(1) Go to Mexico - Get drunk for the entire week.
(2) Go to Europe - Visit tonnes of museums, get drunk, explore, kill myself over the weak US dollar.
(3) Take a cruise to South America - Get drunk, eat, explore, relax.
(4) Western USA - Start in Vegas (to please parents), sightsee, explore, museums, coffee in Seattle with the owner of Starbucks.
Which would you choose?
Western USA is winning at the moment, due to parents liking the idea a lot.

I vote '2', because Europe is nice.
However, it's not entirely different to the states, and not too cheap. On the other hand, it's a good place to go exploring and all of that.

You should come to Oklahoma, we have casinos.....cheap ones.
You could see lots of historical stuffs and Smunkee. *nod*
Also, Mexico is pretty bleh.

Vegas (to please parents)
That's... unusual.
But yeah, 4. Because it's awesome and I can tell you tons of places you HAVE to go and you can take brilliant pictures.
Wherever you go, just make sure to visit some mountains. You'll see what I mean. The Sierra Nevadas, the Rockies, the Cascades, the Alps, the Andes...wherever you go, visit actual mountains. You'll never call the Appalachians mountains again.

I hope to volunteer in Africa for 8 weeks in July and August this summer and that would be my last holiday before I go to university next year, which would be my last holiday in a while.

(2) Go to Europe - Visit tonnes of museums, explore, and eat.
The museums, the castles, the food (except for the UK), the wine, the beer and great people in the UK and Spain. Yes, Europe.

The Appies so are mountains. You try climbing one and tell me otherwise.
I'd go to Europe if I were you. Mexico doesn't seem very appealing, 4 seems boring, South America seems nice, but I don't really like cruises.
Europe has most variety and other nice stuff (and better beer because you seem to like getting drunk)

I still call them mountains after visiting the other ranges. Why would I stop calling a B cup a breast just because I've seen double Ds?

All you need is a hand full and a mouth full. Everything else is waste. I'll take some B 36's please. :D
western USA... but don't stop there... keep going west untill you hit a small chain of Islands in the middle of the pacific.
Get a tan in January!
Europe, because it pwns. Also, this Western US thing is notably lack in drinking, and should thus be abandoned.
Go to Cabo, or Tijuana. And go when everyone else is going too. Make sure you eat the worm.

theres a reason why all these places are national parks. you MUST see them sometime in your life, why not this year?

Come to Colorado. We have casinos, the Colorado Rockies (the baseball team), the Colorado Rockies (the mountains), Pike's Peak, great steakhouses, museums, and buffalo (bison) steaks. And you can drink coffee with me.

I picked other, just because in two weeks I am headed out for a cruise in the Carribean, Puerto Rico to St. Thomas, St. Kitts, Bonaire, Grenada and Aruba. Warm, you get to see different places, and the hotel goes with you.
I can hardly wait!

there is no "fuck the world and stay indoors happy" option?!
I suggest taking a short trip to Jamaica and then onto São Paulo* (hopefully aiming to hit the worlds largest gay parade date so you have lots of friendly tourists about and can take pictures)
though I suggest staying in the US or taking a cruise so you don't have to deal with airports really :(
*this will however cost an arm and a leg so its a good thing you have lots of time for your passport to arrive

Does anyone remember, hmmm, it was either in SatireWire or The Onion but anyway...
The premise was some American guy who, after 9/11, decided that it was the duty of every American to head out and see the world, take in the differences and gain a greater understanding of foreigners and foreign lands.
So he heads up to Canada and he's amazed at how foreigners are basically the same as Americans but with a few differences, like they have Horton's instead of Starbucks - actually I wouldn't know if that's a good comparison - and the language is also basically the same aside from some pronunciation issues.
So he comes back to America feeling fulfilled in his greater understanding of the outside world.
Well I thought it was funny.
Anyway, since your parents fly you back and forth from your private school in Switzerland to the finest 5* hotels in Europe, South America and Northern Africa, loading you with culinary delights and cultural sites every goddamn month, I think you should be dropped in the slums of Calcutta with no money, passport or phone so you can live a little and take a bit of the shiny gloss from your pampered childhood of nannies and silver spoons.
A healthy dose of absolute poverty will only help with your perspective as you take on your enormous trust fund on reaching 21.

Because I gave him a good... one.One is the loneliest number!
And sonnets and dirges and all manner of sorrow and felicitations have been, on occasion, due focus of one.
Not that i'd accuse Brevious of any of those abilities.
