Apparently the RIAA has decided that making additional copies of legally purchased music for personal use (such as ripping them to your computer or MP3 player) is stealing. Make sure you delete your non iTunes purchased music from your hard drive before they sue you for $9,250 PER SONG

Rip your music on a pc that is NOT connected to the Internet.

Rip your music and have it saved straight to an external HDD that is NOT kept connected to your pc.

and most importanly... don't illegally (as opposed to legally) download songs. :p

Stop voting for the same politicians who support strict copyright enforcement. That's the only way we're going to solve this mess.

Anyway, NSG, what are your music collections worth? My player, MPD, reports 61350 songs in my collection, at a value of 567,487,500 dollars. Not bad!
