Hmm... Do you think that these whiny bitches' reaction to their father not giving them all his money had something to do with him not giving them all his money? :p

The very idea of earning getting money and valuables after a relative dies is dehumanizing and disgusting. It has caused a rise in family(especially spousal) murder, fraud and scamming. And instead of loving family members family members start fighting over currency. It causes no good.

I think it has everything to do with it. James Brown leaves most of his estate to his grandchildren's futures and charity... his greedy money grubbing children want a bigger slice. Its pathetic, makes me wish I had a lisence to kill.

This problem could have been avoided if he wasn't on the scene like a sex machine so much.

If she wasn't allowed to leave it to us kids after her death, I'm sure she wouldn't be doing that, since it would be money down the drain.

Inheritance comes with good sides and bad sides: Greedy people will engage in loathsome acts because of it, but it's also a means for parents and grandparents to take care of their loved ones after they're no longer around.

They should be distributed among the people according to their need.

its not out of the question that the children may be right and that mr brown was talked into setting up trust funds that will end up making his advisors rich at the expense of the family AND the needy children the trust is supposed to help.

its not like its a rare thing for advisors to take advantage of an ill man to feather their own nests. if i were the judge i would take the trusts out of the hands of family friends and put it with a heavily monitored professional trust manager.

If that was their agenda, I would agree. But it isn't. They don't want more trustworthy trust managers. They want the money. THat's why they will be getting a visit from the scrotum-seeking attack weasels at my earliest convenience. :)

To hell with that, I intend to be able to one day cut a check to my parents that says "thanks for raising me, here's your rebate." My dad's already given me my great-grandfather's cufflinks and watch, and my mom's dad gave me a WWII jacket that his own brother wore when flying as a bombardier in the 256th. The only other thing I really want is a well kept sledgehammer that's been passed to the eldest son for about six generations, and as the oldest sibling, that thing is mine (in about 36 years).

I'm afraid that knowing his children, Mr Brown might have planned for an unexpected visit from beyond the grave to mitigate the unruly progeny. That's why he bought those teeth implants.
