What movie do you think is the worst in flight movie ever made? I think its got to be Flight 93... or maybe Passenger 57... hell any kind of movie where a plain gets hijacked/crashed...

I'll make a pole...

I had the option of watching "the Santa Clause 3" and then "unaccompanied minors" on my flights over here. I would say those are pretty terrible.

I would rather watch a good movie where a plane gets hijacked than a crappy movie about something else because I can tell fact from fiction.

Final Destination. I mean, really now, what the hell were they thinking when they selected that for the in-flight?

Alive?

The thought of eating your fellow passengers is probably more appealing than the crap they serve in economy class.

Alive.. yeah I was going to put that on the Poll but forgot it and added the Fugitive instead :(

Meanwhile over on the music channel you can listen to a selection of Lynrd Skynrd, Aaliyah, and Buddy Holly's greatest hits.

I chose "Other", but the truth is that I've never seen a movie during a flight. The few times that I've travelled by plane, the journey simply wasn't long enough.

The only movie I remember seeing when I flew was 16 Blocks and that was surprisingly not terrible. Of course, when they decided that they wern't going to show another movie and just start showing random commercials and shitty tv for the rest of the flight, that was horrible.

The thought of eating your fellow passengers is probably more appealing than the crap they serve in economy class.

The best flight ever was when I watched all three lord of the rings back to back to back... The worst movies I always fall asleep during, so I can't really remember.

The thread is mainly meant as a joke.. worst flight movie as in the one that could potentially cause the most panic... I should have been specific...

Airport.

Indeed, indeed, at least for disaster movies (as opposed to disasterous movies). How did this grandpappy not make it on the poll? (Speaking of which, where's the pole we were promised?)

As for disasterous movies, Daddy Day Camp, on my flight home for Xmas this year was pretty awful...

Oh the horror! I wanted to crash the plane to escape the agony!

Once, I saw the Core as my in-flight movie. Great idea showing an end of the world movie on an airplane, it wasn't even good.:(

Air Force One.

Of course. It was all too obvious.
Those poor hijackers stood the same chances of a snowball in a supernova against the PotUS, Indiana Jones and Han Solo.

Or perhaps one uses a pole machine (http://www.unitedwood.com/pole_machine.html)?

How is Snakes on a Plane the worst?

Because there's SNAKES ON A PLANE!

Because there are motherfucking snakes on a motherfucking plane. It could cause people to panic.. especialy if you have a rubber snake with you!

But those are both reasons why it's the best!

Gone in 60 seconds because it reminds you of the fact that airports extort more money on parking than actual flights

The airlines I fly serve food in economy. Granted it tastes worse than the plastic containers they serve it in but they make an effort.

Watched Day after Tomorrow on a flight once. They kind of cut out all the bits that involved planes freezing up and the like.
