If you have kids, was it on purpose?

Well, it was sort of in between. We're intelligent adults and knew that the extraordinary amount of boinking we do would eventually result in kids, but we weren't boinking TO have kids. :p

I've had my bullets taken out of my gun though. Three little goofballs is plenty. Besides, if I have a fourth, the Prophecy might come true. *nod*

 3?

Yep, my oldest is 3 1/2, and the twins just turned 1 last month(I refuse to say '13 months'). :)

Given that my one and only son was born when I was 14, it's safe to say it was not on purpose.

I do not regret it though.

You know it's possible for that to be reversed, right? Including for it to become undone naturally over time.

I have 3 myself. One is 22 that I had with my HS gf(not planned). I also have an 11yr old and a 3yr old(almost). The last two were planned and we plan on having more in the future. Maybe two more we are not sure.

Oh, come on. :p Goofballs always struck me as the kind of guy to not go after shore leave girls or what-have-you.

Anyway, I plan on having one child that is mine biologically, but I might adopt one or two. We'll see.

I can't answer for Lunatic Goofballs exactly, however here in the US they make it very very clear that it 'could' become undone naturally, but the chance of that depends greatly on the exact technique used.

In my case the doctor removed an inch out of each tube, pinched each side off with a staple then cauterized the ends closed.

Yes, I signed three waivers saying that I know that the procedure is not likely to be reversible, and yet the possibility of me impregnating a woman at some point in the future still exists. There are no known instances in which the technique used on me has failed, however the possibility I will be the first is greater than zero.

I never understood the need to say 'I would love an adopted child as much as my own biological child.'

Of course you would. If you couldn't, then something would be seriously wrong with you. Why on earth would 'sharing your genes' make one child more worthy of love than another child who you raised?

Because some people wouldn't.

My uncle was adopted. My great-grandmother did not love him the way she did her biological grandchildren.

Well just as some people shouldn't have children of their own, some people shouldn't raise other people's children either. That's just fucking sick.

Indeed. The only reason I add a might in my own statement is due to an uncertainty about whatever possible living situation I might have. I know I'd want to provide the best possible life for any children I create/adopt and I do NOT want to have any kids until that is settled.

I read a study not too long ago that had something to do with males and facial recognition of offspring; a sort of 'I know it's my baby' evolutionary tool to distinguish their offspring from any potential cuckolding. Now, I'd like to think we are a little more evolved than that, but I don't doubt that basic biological urges such as these lay at the foundation of many peoples thoughts, men at the least. Can't say the same about women.

EDIT: Never mind; I've seen Jerry Springer.

Having kids when you're loaded is to be expected. Having kids while shooting blanks is a prophecy fulfilled. Or an episode of Maury Povich.

haha very funny.

it is very illegal...why do so many people have their minds in the gutters?

To be more specific in my post is...My brother bred his female American Bulldog with another American Bulldog. He had first dibs on a male pup and he gave me the 2nd choice of the 4 male pups born. I wanted a male that had atleast one blue eye but ended up getting a male pup with brown eyes, so I ended up having the first pick of a female pup that did have one blue eye and one gray eye. I did not plan on getting 2 pups, I only wanted one pup but got 2 pups so Yes she was an accident resulting as a last minute decision on my part. No Beastiality involved...
