It seems Grave_n_idle and I have come to a little disagreement so I put it to you the NSG elite! Who shall win the Londim Lifetime Acheivement Award? Londim or Grave_n_idle?

Also to avoid this thread being branded as complete spam who would you award a lifetime acheivement award? This can do with anything from movies to sport, philosophy to politics, religion etc...

Y'know, it's not really the done thing to give yourself awards, unless you're a tinpot dictator.

I find it rather interesting that a poster who joined in the middle of two-thousand-and-fucking-six can make some "lifetime achievement" award and somehow not be pinned down by the older posters for it. But I digress.

Neither of you deserve it.

It's not really about how long one has been on these forums, but how much of an impact you have made upon them. I've been on them a lot longer than most, but because I've hardly posted on them compared to other forums I'm on, not many will know of me.

Funny you should say that, as most of the people I posted with (I had over 10,000 posts in that period) rarely post here anymore, and many are gone for good.

That's some freaky shit. Though I did hear about random friends being deleted when they updated their server... I guess that happened.

The way I see it, if you're still alive then you haven't achieved a lifetime. Neither of you can have it until one of you dies. Whoever dies first is the winner.

Awards? Who needs them? Greatness such as mine requires no recognition; it is a force of nature.

Thank you for the cancelled monument but I exist as a living monument to the concept of "Greatness" and a monument commemorating a monument is a bit redundant.;)

Would it be gauche of me to point out that the person who wants a lifetime achievement award can't spell achievement?

I would never give a "Lifetime Achievement Award" to somebody still alive. You need to have all the facts. You give some living dude the award, and then he slacks off and coasts the rest of the way.

Well, I can honestly say, that Love you, or Hate you, nobody ignores you.

Edit: but you know me; I prefer to stay modest and let my greatness speak for itself.
