I have an off topic question. In Brussels, do they just call them sprouts?

French fries are called that due to the cut of the potato, though. Brussels sprouts are called that because Brussels is where they were originally cultivated (according to Wikipedia).

Well, french for "french fries" is "des frites."

Frit means fried, so yeah, they just call 'em fries.

here in Flanders, which is the area neighboring Brussels we call them "spruiten" I guess the Dutch speaking people in Brussels call them that too. I think it is basically the same. And french fries are called frieten here, I don't know why.

I am happy to announce that I have successfully captured all of his reindeer, slaughtered them, and had them sent off to a meat packing plant for conversion into food.

I will be giving away for free, all of the meat.
