MacFarlane's part of the strike. Apparently FOX went ahead and aired a few unaired but finished episodes during the strike, and MacFarlane's not been to thrilled about it.

i can live without new episodes of stupid tv dramas, even the ones i like but to have to deal with POLITICS without john stewart is brutal.
