In the beginning, Hataria created the game, Jolt and [violet]. And He saw That it Was good. Immediately, the game was an instant hit. With such legendary players as Communist Mississippi and Beeker. Both later became mods. Contrary to the modern situation, Frisbeeeeeteeeeria and Katganistan became beloved mods, making un-biased and fair decisions. Other mods such as The Basenji began a rein of terror, in which nations such as Francos Spain were deleted for ridiculous things, such as """""griefing""""". Eventually Hataria ordered Bas to DoS.
Another well beloved and well mannered mod was Scolopendra. Scolo was very respectful to nationstates players and is an all-time favorite. Scolo was involved in a nasty scandal with pretending to give Myrth mod powers, but earned his balls back by restoring the unjustly deleted Hogsweat. Super geek Salusa Secondus was a cruel and unsual mod, but yet retained a close circle of friends.
In 2005 Sephrioth was made proof reader for issues along with United Kingdom2. Unfortunately at this time, GMC Military Arms had a sexchange and is now ridiculed for this. At this time one of nationstates best ever roleplayers, Sigma Octavius, founded nswiki. Also the Weegies were dominating the NS world cup, winning eleven straight while Starblaydia is infamous for RPs such as "Starblaydia win".
2005 is known as "The year of the Jew" in nationstates huddles, with a surge in Jewish players such as Craven, MassPwnage, Doomingsland and Midlonia. Following in 2006, was "The year of the Emo" with emo nations such as QUESTERS QUESTERS and moar QUESTERS. Also a rebel who never played lapdog to a mod showed up on the map in late 06, Dread Lady Nathicana.
Max Barry shows up in 2006, playing as the nation New-Lexington and later Okielahoma. Not suprisingly, these two nations were beloved by Generalites until Max left in early 2007. More level headed characters followed, such as Il Ruffino and Drunk Commies Deleted. Swilatia was also an NSG favorite with his kindness and legendary arguments.
As 2007 waned on, the mods became more and more open, giving even more freedom to roleplayers across the boards. However, the mods also clamped down on Generalites, who were wreaking havoc with their wank and phail. Hataria took the liberty of appointing a new admin, Beeker at this point. At this point, the story ends with now...
