Its the Holiday Season! Everyone from every culture around the world is preparing to celebrate some kind of special day and one tradition the world over for (most) every holiday is the exchanging of gifts and well wishes. Well, here in SantaB's abode is the perfect place to share with each other holiday dreams and wishes or just some good old holiday cheer... I'll go ahead and start.

I want a 1 gig RAM stick!

My wish is for my whole family to finally meet my Lisa, up until now only my youngest brother has seen her. Sadly, it seems this year its not going to happen.

well aside from an end to the tyranny of the dominance of aggressiveness under any idiology, form of government, economic theory, or system of belief, along with an end to the use of combustion in any form to generate energy and propell transportation; i'd also like a keyboard midi controller, a broadband internet connection, and or, a box of japanese prototype model multiple unit passinger trains, in N, HOn, HOe, Nj, HOj, or even G or 'H'!

those are the things i don't already have, not imediately expecting, but not so far fetched as to not at least wish, and maybe even hope, for.

up until about 20 years ago, you almost never saw japanese prototypes in american train stores. then for about ten years you did. and now you pretty much don't anymore. this time because OUR (american) money has turned into crap, and i can't really blame asia for no longer wanting it.

Discarding material concerns like the plausibility of anyone actually getting it for me:

A bunch of books... some stuff by William J. Mann, whatever Randall Kenan comes up with next (a sort of future wish), and hell, virtually anything, fiction or non-fiction, that's good, interesting, and doesn't require forcing myself to read it.

A few other things... the first two volumes of The Magnetic Fields' 69 Love Songs, a philosophical discussion with my friends that doesn't involve them ignoring me after one minute, a boyfriend (or girlfriend, but I find that harder to imagine, whatever my sexual orientation), and the affection of my friends and family for another year. (That last one I might actually get, if I'm lucky.)

Some snow would be awfully nice. I'm from up north, where we get a good five feet (at least), and it sticks from September through April. This island has nothing on Burns Lake, and it makes me sad.

Edit: WoW would be pretty killer, too, since FFXI won't load on my old piece-of-crap laptop, and WoW is the only mmorpg I know of that plays on a Mac.

One SS-27 Topol-M intercontinental ballistic missile. With the launcher vehicle, of course. Ain't much use without a launcher vehicle.

More realistically, nothing much. To celebrate the end of school and breaking a one-year abstinence (mostly) on new computer games I've been buying lots recently, and I also got a stack of books. Assassin's Creed might be nice though.

And, of course, world peace. :p
