Finally! The US is admitting it needs to assess the effects of global warming!

It's only a small step but it's in the right direction. They need to out-right say that they will commit to doing their part.

We're (as in Humans) only on earth for a very short while, since humans have exsited for less than a million years, and the earth has been around for about 4 billion, and we will go exstinked probably within a million years. This is a cycle that has gone on for a very long time, but we've made it go much faster then it has gone in the past.
