Yes, as the Old Ones came to earth long before the dawn of man and made the shoggoths, who in turn became the terrestrial fauna. *nods*
Possible, but, given the lack of evidence, unlikely.
On a less serious note, how do you think LG got here, if not though alien/human reproduction.

I believe the pyramids were constructed as landing pads for gigantic spaceships of a race that enslaved mankind thousands of years ago and transplanted man across the galaxy.
Wait, no, that's the plot of Stargate.
Of course, the pyramids were made by our evil space overlord Xenu, after destroying his people with hydrogen bombs around volcanoes. He also made cheese pies, lawyers and the Illuminati.

Only time will tell if I have affected history or not, but I find it unlikely.

I personally blame all of this pyramid carry-on on Belgium...they've had it too good for too long.
On a happier note; I think Aliens may have had an influence on earth culture, such as maybe posing as Gods, but I am unsure whether they helped build any great monuments...the building of the pyramids was gradual...after all...Rome wasnt built in a day...it was more like a Fortnight...

Ugh. My dad owns the book. It's complete tripe. The author tries to assert that the Tunguska Event was an alien ship breaking up as it came in for a crash landing.
Well, it was a long trip and they hadn't seen a woman in so long, that even one with only two breasts would suffice. :p
So...part Betazoid, huh? That explains your uncanny accuracy with mud pies.
Betazoids were originally going to have four breasts, but Marina Sirtis crushed that long before anything was ever done about it.

Well, to be fair, the Old Ones in the context used by Lovecraft is pretty shaky. In fact, no distinct group of entities ever actually seen is referred to as the Old Ones. The only real mention of them is in the Dunwich Horror.

Why would this question be asked. Jesus by definition was an alien. He came to this Earth from somewhere else and left it to somewhere else. Moses got the 10 commandments from a mountain top by "God"(Alien by definition).

His empathic abilities let him know exactly where everyone is around him, like a natural radar. If he had telepathy he'd be Psycho Mantis. As it is he's just Lunatic Goofballs.

No, the pyramids were built by men. They were able to accomplish so much without modern technology because humanity hadn't degenerated as much because the fall was much more recent. Space aliens had nothing to do with it!

The creatures commonly called "Elder Things" are explicitly called Old Ones in At The Mountains of Madness.
On a related note, Von Daniken, the guy who came up with the whole tripe about aliens in ancient history, got the idea after reading a translation of Lovecraft's At The Mountains of Madness. Seriously.

I stand corrected, having never actually read At the Mountains of Madness.
I'm not surprised. People will believe anything they read, even if it's explicitly fiction.
Do you believe that human history may have been influenced by extraterrestrials during certain events, such as the building of the pyramids and the sphinx?
Simple answer: No
Long Answer:
There is no reason to believe that this is the case. If there were other people in human history who had influenced us in any significant way, they would have inadvertently left their fingerprints all over the areas of their influence, and it'd show up in the archaeological data, and this just isn't the case.
The whole pyramids were built by aliens stuff is just fantasy. The Egyptians built them. The Archaeological proof of this is right there, just go and look at it for yourself. We have workers towns, we have tools, we have the quarries, we have architects, details of construction, of resources being allocated. I could go on.
Meanwhile, on a wider scale, when you look at human history, it's most over riding impression is just that. It's human. Whilst we may lack certain aspects of earlier civilized societies, it's quite clear that the underlying themes of human nature is always present.

And yes, the 010 actually made a pretty good cheese pie. :D

Cheese pie is evil and the work of satan. Good people eat Cornish pasties. Everyone should know that by now....
Possible, but, given the lack of evidence, unlikely.Indeed. This is no different from Intelligent Design. Makes for great stories, but should you try to plug it into science class...
I'm not implying that that's what's happening here, though.

Evolution.
Or perhaps, an advanced scout for the Killer Klowns sent to turn us all into cotton candy?
So was that the ultimate goal of Pennywise? So, when the group killed him, LG came along to continue Pennywise's work? :D

Do you believe that human history may have been influenced by extraterrestrials during certain events, such as the building of the pyramids and the sphinx?Funny, since our tour guide to Tulum gave a strong argument for that, even with pix of mummified architects of the site having extremely unusual cranial characteristics.
