Sleeping patterns

I've had the same 'off kilter' sleeping pattern since I was about 14. It's almost like I work on a 27 hour day.

I'll start off waking up in the mornings, and slowly (despite the alarm clock) will start waking later and later until I'm waking up at 9pm and going to sleep at 9am.

It going to work an immense struggle as I'll either not turn up or I'll have to pull 'all nighters' in that I won't sleep for more than 24 hours in an attempt to reset.

So, any advice? Anybody else have similar problems?

(currently at 23hours of waking)

I assume you've tried most remedies? Sleeping pills, no caffeine in the hours before bed, no tv/computer right before bed etc?

I have no advice, my sleeping habits are pretty bad too. I get home from work about 11pm most days, and then I go about doing everything I would do after work if I worked 9-5. Ends up with me going to bed about 5am usually. And then my Dad gets up for work at 7am, Mum at 8am, and brother for university at about 8:30-9am. And every single one of them wakes me up :(

While I was at uni my sleeping patterns were off too...I found a herbal remedy that worked for a couple of weeks (it's supposed to relax you or something), but other than that...*shrugs*

I'm a decidedly nocturnal sort. I don't care for being up during the day, and don't even particularly like sunlight. I'm a vampire, fear me!

Fucking irritating ball of plasma.
