Good lord! Are we intelligent enough to handle self-illuminating cats?

I for once welcome our new glowing feline overlord!

Further proof that we are not smart enough to know that, just because you can do something, doesn't mean you should.

...and mice that have no fear of cats (all though glowing ones might give them a bit of a turn)

Why not? It's an important proof of concept experiment which has a very wide range of uses.

Of course, I think it's been possible to do this kind of thing for a while...

The only reason I can think of these Koreans are doing this is to clearly be able to catch these cats at night. Just think Teriyaki production will be doubled if they can now catch household pets at night and during the normal daylight hours!

Would you eat glowing food though?

Would you eat glowing food though?

The teriyaki sauce would cover it and do you eat your teriyaki in the dark?

Red-glowing cats, eh?

I still prefer the green-glowing pigs myself!

I'm searching for a clip of Jesse Jackson reading 'Green Eggs and Ham' on Saturday Night Live. One of the most hilarious moments in television history.

I found several audio clips and the audio set to a homemade video but I can't find the original video except for one particularly horrible one on Youtube.

that is cool. really cool. Now the only question left is how long before they can clone me and make the clone grow?

Yet.True. I'm going with Anti-Social Darwinism on this though. I'm afraid that glowing in the dark is going to be detrimental to the kitties for reasons potential owners won't bother thinking about. It'll only be a matter of time before Hell-glow Kitty is all the rage as a Christmas gift.

To answer your question: We have dogs bred so pure that they need caesarian sections to give birth. We are definitely not ready for glow-in-the-dark kittens.

Cruel, but still kind of awesome.
But soon enough we will grant them foolish genetic traits, like laser-vision.
