A Message For Al Gore
I thought I'd link this to this forum. This is my dog, Dini, and her message to Al Gore... (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3EeL3o2spRA)
It is intended as humour, don't take the dog's opinion too seriously.

Where would you even buy black wallpaper? Lowes and Home Depot don't carry it...

Kind of.
If you keep them dry and cool, they'll happily keep for a long time. If one goes squishy, the rest of them tend to. Plus, that bad one might have worms or maggots which would spread to the rest as they're kept together.

Wow.
Some twat actually spent the time to train his dog to do what dogs do naturally -- make connections between verbal cues and requested actions. I'm surprised this rube knows how to work a video camera.

Now if he was able to teach his dog to poop on command.....
I would hope that PETA don't learn of how you're thoughtlessly using an animal to further your own political agenda if I were you.

The dog doesn't write his own stuff..?!?Any Pavlov can get a dog to do tricks on cue to a sound. It's nothing special.

Nonsense.Pavlov himself felt the urge to ring the bell anytime he thought a dog was about to bark.

that dog is so beautiful! I'm an expert in doggy vocal and body language and that dog was clearly saying that Al Gore is right, to pay attention to global warming and treat it as urgent.

Sweet mother crap that was lame...I mean, I expected it to be stupid, but that, that was really really really fucking lame. Like, even if I didn't like Al Gore, I would be embarrassed by that video's existence. Holy crap. And you linked it! Not only did someone think it was a good idea, retain that mistaken thought and actually do it, look at his finished product and still think it was a good idea, but then you thought, "Hey, I should show this to others!" And not ironically, either, but actually bill it as humor as intended. My god man, that's a vortex of bad judgment on an American Idol failed audition scale.
People should study you.
What the heck is up with that black wallpaper with flowers on it anyway?

Actually, it was with the house when we bought it...we're just too lazy to remove it.

...If you don't like it, I do wonder what drives you to spend the energy to actually type up a post about it, especially a whole paragraph of a bunch of "creative" ways to say the exact same thing.
Really, I just ignore Youtube videos I don't like. Especially since the first post and several subsequent posts pretty clearly said what all it was, if a dog barking at "Al Gore!" and "Global Warming" doesn't amuse you, I have to wonder why you clicked in the first place. And even then, if I watch a video I didn't like, I usually shrug, curse myself for wasting 40 whole seconds of my life, and go on, instead of wasting ten times that thinking of different ways to say I didn't like it.

Hehehehehe :D
This amuses me - much funnier than your OP :p

with the current writer's strike going on... he couldn't get anyone else to write his material. :(

We clicked because we don't know you and we give all new folks the benefit of the doubt. Rest assured that the next thing you link to will be ignored in more mumbers now that some know what you consider to be funny.
Once I was suckered in to watching, I felt compelled to explain that the vidoe is effectively like trying to get someone to pay attention to, say, water pouring into a glass or the sound a bottle of soda makes when it's opened. You got a dog to make alarm/attention sounds when you said a certain word or two and expect us to think it's funny because it "looks like" the dog has an opinion on global warming, and hey! It just happens to be YOUR opinion! Wow! Your opinion from your dog, who is acting purely on instinct!
About as exciting as beige, and half as funny.
So don't try and deflect your deserved responses by mocking us for following the link you posted. It took you longer to train the dog, film it, post the video to YouTube and link it here than it did to type any reply.

excellent demonstration of the philosophical distinction between intentions and consequences, as well as a compelling case for why we should reject any sort of purely intentionalist theory of humor.

Actually, I do recall saying that you can leave contrary comments to yourself as Dini (And yes of course me, thank you for pointing out that she doesn't aCTUALLY have political opinions. Really. It's a dog.) doesn't want to hear them and can't read them anyway.

Reminds me of Prince Rupert of the Rhine, who trained his dog (Boye) to urinate on hearing the words 'Oliver Cromwell'. Except you're less cultured than the Mad Cavalier.
