First I had the debate regarding whether Chrisitanity should align more with capitalism or socialism. From what I seen, the decision that somebody makes is based on the prejudice they have for the other ideology, well lets look at some flaws and strengths of both.
Capitalism, productive cause people are motivated by profit however it tends to lead to poverty of others.
Socialism, the main goal in is ultimate equality, some stereotypical views is it being lazy when it is not, and it is supposed to steer towards democracy; however, some socialist countries have become dictatorships.
Personally, I think Christianity is aligned more with socialism, because Jesus would love to see mankind helping itself out, contrary to the pro-capitalist view.
