I just made a batch of my special potato/yam latkas. Mmmmmm. can't wait to eat them! Sunday I'm going to try my hand at making sufganiot from scratch. We'll see how that goes.

Since my only knowledge of Chanukah is a few minutes reading on the 'net, I feel a bit awkward wishing anyone a Happy Hannukah.
Let it be clear, though, that I certainly hope no-one has an unhappy Chanukah. It lasts for eight days, right?
