Possibly Dumbish Windows Question

Were talking Vista x64 too, 'cause I'm hardcore like that.

So, onto the problem already, the monitor that I want to be the secondary (the CRT)screen is the primary (I want the primary to be the LCD) and vise-versa. Yeah, yeah, just switch the order in the ATI Catalyst Control Center and be on with it. It is not quite that simple. When you download some shit to the desktop, it ends up on the primary screen, most windows open on the primary, etc. Like I said, my primary is currently a ugly ass CRT display, and I want it to be my slightly less ugly ass LCD. Any ideas?

In before Vista is the problem, x64 is the problem, ATI is the problem.

Become the solution.
When in doubt, use tautologies.

Another problem, but this one is less critical and due to foobar2000. After X time of playing my media, a pop-up occurs saying "Processing $PathToCurrentTrack". No sound plays, and it takes control away from the current application -- even games, which is all I really use Windows for. All my music is flac, and foobar2000 is probably the only music player for Windows that I like. WTF do I do /nsg/?

Are the connectors the same? If so, swap the cables.

Why would you buy Vista to play games?

Because games developers put Mac last behind PS3, XBOX 360, PC and Linux?

Are the connectors the same? If so, swap the cables. While I have fixed it, that wouldn't be a good solution for two reasons. First, I dual-boot Linux, and that would fuck up its dual head. Second, this is a problem on the software side. Windows had it right for a while, then decided to change it up on me, switching the connectors would not address that.

What Jeruselem said.

You probably meant "Get XP" though. I have my reasons. The main are Vista is faster on a machine that exceeds the minimum specs like mine does, Vista is not ass ugly like XP, and it does allot better job handling my wireless connection (specifically, I only have to enter my ESSID and KEY, where on XP I had to sacrifice a goat to a Dreadic lord).
