Milk and 2 sugars
As I'm sitting here drinking tea with milk and 2 1/2 sugars, I'm disgusted. How do you people drink tea with only milk and 2 sugars? My tea is usually cream and 5 tablespoonfuls of sugar.
And if you don't drink it with milk and 2 sugars, how do you drink it? Are there some brave souls out there who drink it "pure" with no milk and no sugar?

It depends. I only drink earl grey or breakfast tea anyway, if its Twinings, or Yorkshire Tea. Please note Yorkshire Tea is in fact what God drinks; it's the tits.
If I'm having earl grey, I take it black with two sugars, and, if I can be arsed and there's a lemon to hand, a dash of lemon.
For normal tea, a little milk and two and a half sugars.
The two times I drank Earl Grey, it was 'pure'.
I usually drink herbal tea sort of things, but I never add anything to them except maybe lemon if I am ill.

Mine's just with milk. And preferably PG Tips because it's the only tea worth drinking, although I mean to buy some Kenyan tea, as that sounds pretty awesome. Out of my housemates, I'm the biggest tea drinker. A couple of days ago I had between seven and nine, and was discouraged from having more after stories of people OD'ing on caffine.
Apparently, milk and two sugars is known as "NATO standard" in slang. I mean to find out what the other variants of tea are called.
Pouring the milk in before the tea is apparently very working class, as they only had one set of "good" china, so therefore had to reduce the chance of it cracking due to the temperature of the boiling water. Putting the milk in first reduced this, although I'd have thought that it would have increased it, as the cup itself would have been made cooler due to the milk.
I also brew my tea for about five minutes. Can't stand weak tea.

That's how I drink it, and my coffee as well. I generally drink 5-10 cups of Twinning's Earl Grey or English Breakfast per day. On particularly sluggish days I'll have between 10 and 20 cups of tea and/or coffee through the day. Of course, I did spend 4 years in the Army, so caffeine is a biological necessity at this point.
Mine's just with milk.
I tried that a couple of minutes ago. After one sip, I dug into the trash to get the bag of sugar and I poured it into my tea.

I normally have sugar with my tea. no cream or milk. but then it depends on the tea to.
Green tea I usually drink straight.
"Lipton" and the ilk, is usually with sweetener... lots of sweetener.
Herb and other types depend on the flavor...

Good Lord, man. You must have the metabolism of a hummingbird. No way are you over 35. That's WAY too damn sweet for me. Myself, I don't like warm or hot sweet beverages. I take my tea ice cold and usually green with lime. I just never developed a taste for warm liquids that aren't of a savory nature. Not even hot chocolate. I know, I know, that makes me a filthy commie or something.

i usually drink tea with just milk (skimmed)
sometimes i have it with a teaspoon of sugar, particularly when its earl grey. but then for earl grey i have it mostly without milk, too.
and yeah, you gotta let it brew. in a pot. or its not proper tea, damnit... without the pot it just doesn't have the room to brew properly imo.
and milk first FTW!
Pure. Mostly because sugar makes me ill and I drink tea at night to help me sleep XP
Vanilla I like with a little tiny bit of sugar and milk. Black tea and Jasmin is good with a little milk too.

If you think that's bad, try it without anything. It is very, very bitter. I've made it when I've run out of milk (or the milk's too far gone to use), and I've had a hard time getting to the bottom of a cup.
I did use to have it with sugar, but stopped. I can't drink it with sugar now at all.

I generally drink tea pure, or occasionally with cream and anywhere from two to five tablespoons of sugar. Coffee I always take black. I can't stand coffee with any kind of creamer or sweetener.
EDIT: Oh, and tea has to brew for at least 5-7 minutes. At LEAST.

Usually, I like a little bit of honey and a slice of lemon in my tea. If it is really crappy tea, a small dash of real vanilla helps too.
Unless it is the vanilla almond flavored tea from The Republic Of Tea (a company that makes fancy teas). Then I like it over ice with no sugar or lemon, just straight. Yum!

Usually drink black or green tea with some sugar (I also have no idea what you mean by 2 and half. If that's spoons that I have spoons of many sizes and it depends. And also depends which tea cup I use (ihave several cups ranging in sizes from 100 ml - 500 ml.).

You are also almost mathematically correct.
Wiki says that one tablespoon is about 15 ml (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tablespoon) , so 5 tablespoons are 75 ml.
Which may be almost half of average tea cup (200 ml).
Some people like it sweet.
I use about 1 tablespoon on one average cup of tea.

Not 5. Five sugars would be five teaspoons. He takes five Tablespoons of sugar. A teaspoon is 5ml, a tablespoon is 15ml. Like I said before, he's eating near a half cup of sugar per tea. A teaspoon of sugar has 15 calories, a tablespoon has 45. His cups of tea have 225 calories just from the sugar.

I'm a purist I guess, and I drink my coffee the same way. Five tablespoons (or even 2 1/2 tsp) of sugar in a cup of tea isn't drinking tea, it's eating candy.
Well, every once in a while a shot of brandy, one sugar, and some cream in the coffee is good. :D

Tea without embellishment is not a beverage. It is a medicine or a mouthwash (mildly alkaline drinks after dinner keep counteract the rise in ph which is bad for your teeth and breath.) For that matter, so is coffee.
Personally, I go for the teaspoon of honey and a splash of whole milk. I'm very particular about my tea and can accept neither half and half nor skim milk. If forced to settle for lesser additives like sugar, lemon, or creamer I will usually have coffee.
