Now that kicks ass! :D
Though, being a British tank, this doesn't surprise me too much. ;)

Bah! You with all your Challengers and Abrams. The T-72 is the most ubiquitous main battle tank in the world, favoured by Third World armies everywhere, and my favourite tank.
Not that I'm suggesting that Spec for Spec the T-72 is in anyway superior to the Challenger or Abrams, besides the larger calibre gun. I've just always been partial to Russian tank designs, and thier variations.

Leopard 2, Challenger 2, or the newest model of the M1.

Leopard 2, Challenger 2, or the newest model of the M1.
That would be the M1A2 SEP (System Enhancement Package).

I like the Leo 'cuz it looks cool, and because it's such a successful export article. No one looks to get into Germany's good books by placing an order, so you know it's a great "bang for your buck" package.

The Type 90 is such an underappreciated tank. So I like it.
Plus the Japanese have this innate ability to build tanks that are easily described as cute. No other country can build cute tanks, but the Japanese can! That wins it points.

Indeed, when you spend as much time studying them as me, you get some weird impressions.
But really, can't you not only tell the family resemblance, but the cuteness?

I don't know if this is a unique feature of tanks generally anymore, but I know the M1A1 has the fire control system where once the target is designated the computer will keep the target in the reticle even when the tank is moving full speed over terrain.
I also love a tank that's powered by a turbine engine and can cruise at 55 mph.
In my home state is the Aberdeen Proving Grounds and they have a museum where you can go and see all sorts of tanks from all over the world. They have T-55s, BRDMs, etc... but they also have an M1.... OMG that sucker is huge...

As far as I'm aware, that's kind of as-standard now in modern MBTs.
