Did anybody else see this and immidiatly wonder which party decided to pull a publicity stunt? I could certainly see either one doing something like this, either to make themselves look good for their 'heroic' actions during the situation, or make the other look bad because of OMG HOSTAGES.

On the good side, if it IS a publicity stunt, its almost certainly going to get found out, which will definitly shake up the US political system and MAYBE give us a chance to establish something approaching an actually representative democracy.

Also, I find it rather amusing that the news networks have apparently ALREADY got bored of watching the SWAT teams run around.

Because the guy's not Muslim.

But seriously now, much as we'd all love to claim this is either a desperate Republican ploy or a cynical Network-ish ploy by Hillary to gain sympathy propaganda, police haven't specified why this nut went into Clinton's campaign office.

When the details come, then we can let the jokes and commentaries fly.

If you're talking to me, yes I'm thinking this in terms of strategy.

I'll tell you why:

Bush already proved he can't be trusted. He's the enemy of the world. Republicans won't do much better than him, since the party has been taken over by its worse, most fascistic elements. For the sake of the world, Bush must go, and no Republican must take his place. Right now that's what matters.
