Here's a simple question. Could Bruce Lee have defeated the japanese Sasuke obstacle course? If not, what stage do you think he would have been eliminated on, and what obstacle do you think would have gotten him?

Personally, I think Bruce Lee would have failed in either the 3rd or 4th stage. If it was in the 3rd, it might either be the Globe Grasp or the Cliff Hanger.

BTW, for those that have no idea what Sasuke (Ninja Warrior) is, check here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ninja_Warrior

I bet Jackie Chan could kick that course's ass.

He was much fitter and more skilled than anyone on that show so he would have. I would also agree with whoever said Jackie Chan, he even does his own stunts.

This whole thread is irrelevant, because Takeshi's Castle was better.

Bruce Lee is fast and agile, but I've seen nothing to view him as overly acrobatic or gymnastic in nature. So I would say, 'No' with a qualification; that he hasn't trained for it.

I suspect that if Bruce Lee wanted to compete, and trained specifically to compete, he'd blow it away.

But you know who could compete right now?

Jeet Kune Do could be considered a precursor of MMA, given its unorthodox "Use Whatever Works" approach to unarmed combat.

Bruce Lee is as dangerous as a kitten compared to Chuck Norris.

I'm not sure how much that'd help him on the obstacle course, though.

Honestly though, if he were still alive I can't see Bruce Lee bothering to go through this circus trick. It would have to take something special.

Bruce wouldnt do it.
He'd wait for Jackie Chan to breeze the thing, and then kick Jackie's ass.

This guy, however, would do it in less time than Jackie.

" Japanese sports entertainment television special " Yes.. he could've. I thought maybe the Sasuke might have been an ancient Samurai fighter or something .. then I'd have to say Lee gets his ass handed to him.
