Oh, well. I would have made friends with Bill Gates, and shown him a real computer, running Unix.

I would've essentially made us go for the Swedish economic model. And pushed harder for that proposed union with France. That would've been AWESOME.:D

Go back to the last election in 2006 and rig it so the NDP would get 1-seat shy a majority, with the Bloc as the opposition. And if I had time, photo shop a picture of Harper to put him in a compromising position with another man... then publish it in all the papers, along with another picture with the caption that says "Harper Eats Babies".

I would have liked my country to fight against Russian occupation and win, just like Finland did.

I would like to make the founding fathers change our national language to german, like they thought about doing. It might make for a very interesting change.

Instead of Dubya running for President, Colin Powell would have run and won.

I would have had Joe McCarthy killed during WWII.

I'd prevent the rise of extremists in the US whether it be left wing or right.

You could at least have said something like "we defeat the entire Wehrmacht in 1940, saving the whole of Europe and Africa" :p

While I am not typically a Labour Party fan, given how events transpired after the election I am about to refer to, I would have been willing to cope with an extra term of Labour.

I would have ensured that the "Citizens for Rowling" campaign had never occurred; as a move, it almost certainly backfired on him and it did not help the Third Labour Government's re-election chances, considering that National already had a massive bribe in terms of NZ Super. Hopefully, Labour would have won the 1975 election and Muldoon would have been outed by a backdoor coup to enable National to win in 1978 (quite possibly Brian Talboys may have been involved in such a hypothetical move).

Without Muldoon, there would have been no Think Big, and no Fortress New Zealand mentality - two actions that almost certainly caused the near bankruptcy of New Zealand and resulted in the Rogernomics reforms being more rapid than they otherwise might have been. Why? Because then we would have health care properly funded, with education given priority? Because we would see an actual green policy put in place to help prevent climate change? That we wouldn't be stuck in a war that is a drain on our resources? Because we wouldn't kiss America's ass any more? What's the problem with it? Oh sure, it's socialist and there's a group of separatists in t but if you get the latter involved, they will feel like they are part of the solution.
