Anyway I quite like the last movie threads suggestions, special prize goes to whoever suggested Pans Labyrinth as it was a good night in

so now I currently have too much money and have started doing silly things like buying a playstation memory card so I can play digimon world again thus it is time I watched a good film suggestions?

Stardust. Well written, with comedy, pathos and beauty. Not to mention some of the best FX I've seen recently - and which are not allowed to dominate the film.

always looked to be making money off Shrek to me, then again the marketing kind of killed any chance of seeing it when it was out at the cinema

VERY different. Much more Brothers' Grimm than Hans Christian Anderson. Based on a sory by Neil Gaiman (The Sandman comic, Movie Mirrormask, Neverwhere.)

Children of Men is quite good.

Das Leben der Anderen (AKA The Lives of Others) is sublime, although a bit hard to obtain.

I ♥ Huckabees? A Chuck Norris movie?

I saw Crimson Tide last night. Its pretty decent. As I am on the topic of Denzel Washington Films, I would recomend American Gangster and Remember The Titans. "If we do not unite here, on this hallow ground, then we too shall be destroyed" Great movie.

Aqua Teen Hunger Force Colon Movie Film For Theaters For DVD was quite entertaining the other night. It probably won't appeal to most, but then, I'm insane.

If you happen to remotely like westerns I'd suggest The Proposition. It's Australian, quite brutal and violent, and perhaps one of the greatest westerns I've ever seen.

That movie was freakin awesome!

Interesting. I'll have to figure out how to get my hands on it.

La Haine
Good film. Worth watching 3 or 4 times.

It's a nice fantasy romp; slightly overlong, and with a rather dated De Niro performance, but worth a watch none-the-less. The Gaiman magic shines through.

If nothing else, you get to see Ricky Gervais hurt.
I ♥ Huckabees.
Damn straight! One of my favourite films of the last few years.

Dustin Hoffman hilariously discussing existentialism; what's not to like?

Stardust. It's different than the book but we (me and my wife :fluffle:) loved it! A must see if only for De Niro. :D
