Don't even mention that game to me. I've been looking forward to it ever since it was announced, and it keeps getting delayed, again and again. At this rate, it'll be released alongside Duke Nukem Forever.

I personally like it, even though im a Christian, it just seems like such an awesome sim. Like sim city and civ only better.

Don't even look at it. It's box is enough to lower your IQ 20 points. It's the dumbest, most unrealistic city builder ever. I'd rather eat dog shit wrapped in cockroaches then play that piece of garbage ever again. Will Wright should be ashamed for his name being attached to that thing.

Anywhoo, Spore has the capacity to be a great game. A revolutionary one, possibly.

Will Wright is the Steven Spielberg of the gaming industry. He has been at the forefront the largest game franchise ever. The concept itself of Spore has never been experimented with on this scale (or perhaps ever). From what I hear, EA is pretty much leaving Wright to do his thing with this project, unlike others.

But, this all counts for shit if it's not executed properly. We've all seen games that we oggled at when we saw the trailers and screenies, but were just average when push came to shove. I just hope that's not Spore.

I have very high hopes for Spore. I hope that Mr. Wright doesn't let us down.

i spent money on it largely because i love sim city games... but it certainly doesn't look that great. haven't actually played it yet. hopefully it'll be better than City Life

though its worth noting that Maxis didn't develop this one as far as i can see, so its not Will Wright. wikipedia says "The game was developed by Tilted Mill Entertainment"

SimCity Societies is more of a sequel to The Sims than SimCity from what I've heard, but pretty average.

Also Will Wright has nothing to do with it.

Mid 2008 has been pretty consistent so far.

Considering that the Spore alpha ran on a 2005 computer, I suppose most of youwill be able to run it.
