Seeing as Spike TV is running their first of two annual Bond Marathons (the second will be in a month) I am wondering what everyone's favorite 007 movies is.

I'd rank my top 3 as

Goldfinger
Goldeneye
Casino Royale

Best song goes to "Live and Let Die."

Spy Who Loved Me I think? It's not my favorite so much as has the coolest car, the Lotus that turns into a submarine.

Yes please.

Moonraker and On Her Majesty's Secret Service.

Edit: Needs poll.

Dr. No is probably the closest any of them came to the books, though the book is much superior.

Goldfinger
Dr. No
Casino Royale

The Bond movies are ridiculously silly and I can never take them seriously.

But Casino Royale--the new one--was funny and enjoyable, especially with the Rifftrax.

From Russia with Love
Dr No
Live and Let Die

Haven't seen the new version of Casino Royale.

Casino RoyaleWhich one? There's three, you know. Unless we're talking James Bond series and not James Bond movies...

Mine would be:

Goldfinger
The Man with the Golden Gun
A View to a Kill

Favorite song: "Live and Let Die"

One minor nitpick with Goldfinger's plan though. Nuking fort Knox wouldn't have prevented the gold's use due to radioactivity. It would have prevented its use because it was atomized.

1. A View To A Kill
2. The Man With the Golden Gun
3. Casino Royale

My favourite would probably include The Spy Who Loved Me. I didn't like Casino Royale much. In terms of songs, "For Your Eyes Only" was one of the best.

My favourites have always been From Russia With Love and Goldeneye .

That being said, the new Casino Royale was also seriously awesome, and a refreshing change to the standard Bond format.

Any advances on the worst one? I'd put forward Die Another Day . That film crushed my soul in more ways than I ever believed possible. It was truly horrendous, and while it may not have been the absolute worst film I've ever seen, the scars it left were unforgettable because of the betrayal of all things Bond.

IMHO

1: Goldfinger

It had the best music, the awesomest henchman, and the best line in any Bond movie ever:

"Do you expect me to talk, Goldfinger?"

"No, Mr. Bond, I expect you to die."

2: On Her Majesties Secret Service

Diana Rigg. And I like the psuedo-psychodelic music tracks.

3. Octypussy

All around good spy movie, although there was nothing exceptional.

I'm probably the only person in the world who hates James Bond movies. ;):p

Goldeneye
Dr. No
Moonraker

I must confess I really did not take to the new Bond. Had it not been a Bond film, I would have enjoyed it massively, however, it just wasn't as silly and entertaining as a Bond film should be.

That and I'm fairly sure Fort Knox airspace is a no fly zone. :p

Tomorrow Never Dies
GoldenEye
The Man With The Golden Gun

Brilliant performances from Jonathan Pryce, Sean Bean and Christopher Lee respectively as the Villains. Pierce Brosnan and Roger Moore definitely my favourite Bonds so far.

The Spy Who Loved Me was quite good, especially the big battle scene between the Americans, British and Russians vs. Henchmen.

Not the new Casino Royale or Daniel Craig.

In that film, Bond is portrayed as a criminal thug, and most of the mid-film "action" revolves around a very boring game of cards. Oh, and suddenly has a heart attack, just to shock you into not falling asleep.

Actually, UN Protectorates, that's WHY many of us like Casino Royale - it brings us the Bond from the books, the suave, near-alcoholic thug who is the very last thing you ever want to meet in a dark alley.

Mainly because if you do, he arranged it, and you aren't leaving alive.

My three:

Casino Royale
Goldeneye
Dr. No

Well I've not read any of the books, sadly. Regardless, I prefer the movie character of Bond.

Regardless, the film was still very boring, and waaaaaaaayyyyy too long.

It was bad, yeah. I found A View To A Kill pretty fucking awful, too.
