Ugh, I played that way back (with the old graphics), and I'm glad I don't anymore. The intellectual level of the average Runescape player makes even WoW look like the National Academy of Sciences.

Yeah, I remember that game. Cutting down trees and the economy were awesome but the combat and about every other system were lame.

I've been playing for about a decade now. Well, roughly. I joined during the bad graphics era, and still maintain a members account, although I don't play much.

Oh God no, I wouldn't join that grind fest if you paid me. Don't even get me started on the community.

In sometimes login to get the holiday drops. I gain a small amount of satisfaction from the crowds of kids following me asking me where I got my scythe.

Terrible, terrible game with a horrific player community. I personally think of it as the second asshole of the internet, after 4chan of course. O_o

I still play. It's free, after all. Lately, I found a bot that was advertising a website where you real-world trade runescape items. I reported him. He made me sick.

It's kinda fun to spend thirty minutes at a time. You know, talk with friends and do stuff. It's fun if you don't play for hours at a time and, you know, burn yourself out.

Though, if you mean "Average for a non-Runescaper," then my not witty comment is "only average intelligence? No above average allowed?"
