This is one of the reasons that I, and likely many others, get frustrated with the Democratic Party. Instead of responding with gusto at the time of the attack, John Kerry has waited until now to refute the swift-boaters claim "beyond a reasonable doubt." Where was this fight earlier, like when he was running? Where was the intensity and leadership at that time? Kerry could have easily put down this nonsense and turned the tables on his opponent by using it as an opportunity to highlight his leadership capabilities. By refuting their claims he would have drawn a distinction between himself and Bush. Instead he rolled over and played dead for fear of...? Alas, people who still want to smear John Kerry will not relent even if he has proven them wrong beyond a reasonable doubt. I'll just be happy when that money gets donated to worthy veterans as Kerry intends it to.

I say to the slimy snake who presents this challenge and backed the swift boaters that when you deny the honor of one of us you are attempting to dishonor all of us. For all those who serve their country with distinction this man is an enemy of ours and the truth. It is people like him who bring down the morale of the troops by dishonoring their service. His actions have far more reach than any protester could possibly have. He propagated a lie on a national level for political gain. T. Boone Pickens you are a d-bag and traitor to America. You should be ashamed of yourself for the rest of your life, but people like you have no shame.

According to the article, he didn't release the medical and service records that would have made the swift boaters look like the liars they were back then but is doing so now.
