This is why Zimbabwe will forever remain a third world country. I mean are you KIDDING ME?

"reported the woman claiming to be a tribal healer, known in the West as a witch doctor, also took large sums of money, a car and a piece of land from the nation's highest ranking politicians, promising in return to use spells to produce diesel fuel from rocks in the bush outside the provincial town of Chinhoyi, 70 miles northwest of Harare."

This is my favorite part the PRESIDENT of the nation sends his CABINET to investigate.

"Mugabe said he at one point sent a delegation of his most senior colleagues, the defense and police ministers to investigate the claims, and when they returned without a clear answer he dispatched the ministers of energy, mines and science and technology and a third delegation of top military and police officers,"

ALL of this for a woman that claims to have spells to make gas come out of rocks. The mind simply boggles.....

Stupid. America's secret export. I see we've been exporting quite a lot of stupid to that place. I refuse to name it because naming it would force me to absorb some of its stupid.

Stupid. It can be found everywhere in the world in massive, renewable quantities, yet we Americans have found a way to export it to other, more stupid countries.

Not even Mugabe will live forever.

Not unless he uses a witch doctor to put his soul in a jar and possess the bodies of countless dead Zimbabweans.

Amazing...

It reminds me a little of this (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showthread.php?t=518988&highlight=Gambian). Mugabe and Jammeh might have a lot to talk about.

Odd. It reminded me of this (http://www.cnn.com/2007/US/11/13/southern.drought.ap/index.html), but that might just be because my mind is still reeling from it.

The now dead Turkmenistan guy reportedly forbade to call him "president for life", because it implied he may die. Apparently even these safety measures didn't work

It's your fault for having too much spare time.

You're reading this thread, right? You're paying money to be able to read this thread, right? So ... you are importing stupid from Zimbabwe.

You should stop reading the thread right now, because you are part of the world demand for stupid.

Critics accuse the 83-year-old Mugabe, Zimbabwe's only ruler since independence from Britain in 1980, of ruining the economy by ordering often violent seizures of farms from whites to be handed over to blacks.

C-

I think this paragraph is proof enough that this is very dangerous and contagious stupid we are dealing with, and urge all posters not to investigate any further.

Los Angeles, CA (WFN) -- Many have scratched their heads over the news Michael Jackson paid a witch doctor $150,000 to place a death curse on Steven Spielberg.

Now, two voodoo experts are chiming in to explain why Jacko's ritual blood bath didn't do the trick.

Voodoo researcher Lady Brenda says it's pretty hard to curse someone without using their hair or nails -- neither of which were mentioned as being part of Jacko's curse.

Meanwhile, an expert who goes by the name Voodoo Lou says the effectiveness of voodoo depends on whether the universe can get behind the spell-caster at that particular point in time.

He figures the curse failed because at the time it was cast in 2000, Spielberg was riding high on the success of "Saving Private Ryan" while Jackson was making babies with Debbie Rowe.

Voodoo Lou says Jackson would have had better "voodaic success" if he threw the curse in 1992, when Spielberg suffered the flop "Hook" and Jackson had the hit single "Black or White."

This is interesting

Question:Can I come here to learn about Zombies & Voodoo dolls?

Ansewer:There are "'zombies" only in Hollywood, but not in Dahomean Vodoun. The Hollywood verison of Vodoun cruelly depicts Vodoun healers, priests/ess, and diviniers as littlemore than "mumbo jumbo" talking frauds, cannibals and witchdoctors, whose only goal is to steal the souls of their unsuspecting vicitms, rendering them helpless, walking zombies in the end. Additionally, the over embellished and sensationalized Wes Craven movie which he alleges is based upon the book by Wade Davis "Serpent & the Rainbow," did little to educate the public about the true Vodoun religion. Craven's movie instead only served to reinforce the racist and degrading sterotypes created by Hollywood and Christian evangelists of the Vodoun religion. Though there are socerers who might attempt such as feat, they are a seperate and distinct group from the ANCESTRAL RELIGION of Vodoun. The same as "Satanism" and its practitioners are viewed and considered the antithesis to Christianity by Christians
