Medal of Honor: Airborne sucks?

When I first bought Medal of Honor Airborne I was excited and the excitment went on all the way to the Operation Varsity mission when I saw the Nazi Sturm Elite... and then the flak tower mission adn I got so god damn dissapointed :headbang: Here I was sitting innocently and expecting Medal of Honor Airborne to rival Call of Duty and then I get this shit
I mean the parachuting element of the game is great but the non historically correct Nazi Sturm elite and in some way the panzerschrek units ruin the game and things like too few missions, stupid AI and predictable gameplay

Anyone who has played Airborne feel the same way?

This guy (http://www.escapistmagazine.com/articles/view/editorials/zeropunctuation/2582-Zero-Punctuation-MOH-Airborne) doesn't think highly of it.

I voted for utter suckitude because it won't run on my PC. I have two nice DVD players (one's a burner), and the disc can't be accessed by either of them. I have no idea why.

OTOH, I just finished Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare, and aside from being a bit short, it is most expressly wonderful. The graphics are amazing, gameplay is superb, and it has a fantastic storyline.

Of course both MoH and CoD4 will be as realistic as pong when operation flashpoint 2 comes out.

You play these games looking for historical accuracy? I hate to use a nerdy abbreviation, but, LOL!

Anyway. Medal of Honour games have been overrated since their first iteration, and that rating continues to be exaggerated to greater degrees as the series progresses. But then, what do you expect from an IP owned by EA?

Are you sure you bought the PC version? :p

Apples and coconuts. Neither MoH nor CoD have ever proclaimed to strive for realism, but instead opt for the cinematic.

Yeah well I got the impression from the OP that he was looking for realism.

Hmmmmm, damn and bollocks....I stayed well clear of the "pacific" one as it was meant to be total mickey, but I'd read favourable reviews of this....

Yeah but he's paid to do that, his criticisms are always valid but a little harsh.
