Is anyone else here interested in them? If so, what's your favorite kind? Mine would have to be Deinonychus, hands down.

I like the Pastafarian idea of dinosaurs. You see, they did exist, and along side humanity. But they didn't have bones. How did they move, you ask? Well, they had a structure of organs that became rigid when blood pooled in them.
Essentially, dinosaurs were walking penises.

Yeah....After a while the insanity wears off and the fascination with carnivorous savage beasts mellows a bit...then you sort of take up a mild interest in Dinos again.

Not familiar with that one.
Do you possibly mean Utahraptor?

I would but I have only time for one obsession.
That's understandable. ;)

Pachycephalosaurus (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pachycephalosaurus), any critter that can headbutt it's enemies to death gets points in my book.

Velociraptors. They can open doors, and can bite through metal bars. I know, I've seen Jurassic Park. I'm informed!

Considering that I have multiple technical works on the subject on my bookshelf, I think it is safe to say that I am interested in them.

What do you tihnk of the 'Dinosaurs = made of penis' theory?
I find it amusing.
Then my work here is done.

What's with posts appearing out of order on my browser?
Anyway, I loved dinosaurs when I was a kid. My favorite is troodon. After I learned that velociraptor actually isn't smart enough to open doors, I liked troodon because it's the smartest. Also, troodon was in the jurrasic park game.

Let's face it, Velociraptors are glorified killer chickens.

Nonsense. Sure, one might not seem imposing, but imagine fighting a whole pack! Six V-Ratpors > one Human.

There is no reason to believe that they hunted in packs.
