Alright, I don't plan to start a riot, so please don't try to. I just want to know which branch of the federal government has overextended their powers AS GIVEN BY THE CONSTITUTION.

Personally, I believe that the Judicial Branch has. The assumed right of precedence in some cases has completely prevented trials based on the individual case. "Laws" have been developed by the Supreme Court due to the decision of some extreme case.

Please don't argue that the Iraq War is illegal because Bush was entitled to go to war and that Congress overwhelmingly supported it. Also that will just lead to uneducated debates.

I don't think any have over-extended their power under the Constitution. The Constitution was designed in order to easily increase centralism over time.
