!!!!!USA steals Niagara Falls from Canada!!!!!

The U.S claimed the Canadian side of Niagara Falls for themselves in a new tourism video...

A new U.S. tourism video displaying the sights and attractions in America includes a shot of something distinctly Canadian - Horseshoe Falls, the only one of Niagara's three waterfalls that's almost entirely on Canadian soil. The two other waterfalls, the American Falls and Bridal Veil Falls which both lie on the U.S. side, weren't shown in the Disney-produced promotional video released last week by the U.S. departments of State and Homeland Security.

It's no surprise...The American side of the Falls sucks, you cant even see it from the states...whereas the Canadian side you can actually SEE both the American Falls and the Canadian Falls

NOTE: The land on the left side of the map is Canada the right is USA...

The video was produced by Disney, so technically, the Horseshoe's now Disney's property... but I'm sure they'll share in return for, say, a tax break.

Oh, shut up. We are showing Niagara in general. People will probably visit you bums anyway, especially with the age 19 casinos just over the border.

What's the age limit for casinos in New York? Casinos here are 18, although they do happen to all be on tribal land...

It's 18 for gambling, 19 for drinking.

As is Michigan, and the tribes strictly enforce it. There's a casino in my town run by the local tribe and when I order drinks they inspect my ID with an electron microscope. Of course, if you really want to drink and you're underage Canada isn't very far away.

Yeah when I lived further north for awhile it was closer ... now I am a few hundred miles from the border :-P

Hmm. Like it was pointed out, I don't think that the USA itself actually made that video. I can just see Dubya out there with a video camera. "Hey ma, look at them pretty falls, they belong to the US of A!" Rofl.

But anyway, it wasn't America, it was whatever dumbass film company was contracted to make the video. So, a little overboard with the exclamation points.

Canada is a bit far from me to make a late night beer run to....

It's a little far for a beer run for me too (about 2.5 hours) but when I lived right on the border the American kids from the local university would party in Canada every weekend. Of course, that meant I'd get interrogated by the border patrol when I was trying to go back to Michigan late Friday night, even if I hadn't been drinking.

Speaking of drinking in Canada, when I moved to the border I went and explored the Canadian side of the city (Sault Sainte Marie), found this (http://www.thebeerstore.ca/OurStores/storedetails.asp?id=250) and absolutely had to stop to investigate.

edit: Oh, and my comment about Canada not being far away was directed more towards UpwardThrust

Or ... i's the final straw, and for a brief and glorious time, our military might shall be brought down like hellfire upon the cheeseheads for keeping it to themselves for this long.
Blame Canada. They're not even a real country, anyway.

Apparently the University of North Dakota has a convoy north of the border each weekend ... or so I hear from some friends that used to go there

Sounds like fun and awesome store!!! I like Canada and if I ever lived by the border (which I wouldn't I could never live up there, too cold), I'd totally hang out in Canada on the weekends to drink. Nice place and friendly people....the only thing is I can hardly tell I'm in (Anglo) Canada and not America anymore....:p Except for the laxer laws...
