Alternative NS political grid?

Heh, I guess it might kinda contradict a previous thread of mine, wherein I said the political grid shared some of the problems with the political spectrum in that it associates so many separate views on separate issues with each other at the same time, that I want this idea done, so I'll admit it's probably a bit odd that I like this idea, but what I was thinking, with regards to the whole "mapping NS users on the political compass" idea, was based on something from the following site:

http://www.okcupid.com/politics

Notice how they have a collage of famous people, MOSTLY real, (though not all; I don't know why they put Vader there) arranged by their estimated positions there? I was thinking, maybe with the same test, maybe not, (could do a collage with the political compass we've been typically mapping with) do a collage of the faces of different NS members to put in there with their positions relative to each other corresponding to their scores (and maybe something with the images that were edited into the collage copied to the side in a separate page saying who's who) in a similar way? (except much bigger given how many people would be measured)

And even if not, how about having an NS map for positions on the OkCupid test now that we already have one (or two, is it?) for the other political compass? I like how this one says economically or socially "permissive" instead of "libertarian" because the kind of views the other political compass associates with libertarianism in either axis is kinda misleading as thinking that something is terrible yet not worth applying government coercion for could be considered a libertarian view, yet I think there were a few questions in both for which the "more libertarian" option implied that whatever you wanted liberty on was a good thing, but at least with this one, it calls it "permissive" wihch refers to actual attitudes towards something as opposed to "libertarian" which is supposed to imply attitudes towards legality of something. Granted, the OkCupid one has things like for "American" farms etc... in it, but just replace "America" with the name of your own country wherever you live and you'll get the general idea... except maybe for the part about the "America isn't as free..." question.

So yeah, how about alternative NS political grid mapping, whether by using the OkCupid quiz as something to map position on, or by having a collage of either?

Sometimes It's a good source for a laugh, as some of its tests are so incoherent they make it sounds hilarious. Specially this one I'm linking to

http://www.okcupid.com/online.dating.persona.test

Here an example of how ridiculous this site is:

http://www.okcupid.com/personality?type=RBSM&g=1&o=3

And from that page:

Always avoid: Genghis Khunt (RBSM)[...]
Consider: [...]Genghis Khunt (RBSM)

Well I never really payed much attention to the site it was from, just that it was an alternative political grid with a less misleading description in saying how permissive as opposed to how libertarian. I think I googled political quiz a year or two ago to find it actually.

24. It should be legal for two consenting adults to

(I saw this and you know what I thought was coming next)

challenge each other to a duel and fight a Death Match.

(then I saw this and laughed)

I Strongly Agree

32. Books with potentially deadly knowledge (like instructions for making awesome bombs) should be regulated.

Another nice one!

Strongly disagree!

45. And now the important question: which one of these guys is most likely wearing a hairpiece?

What I great question to determine my political views!

47. If all eight candidates are dropped onto a deserted island to run through various, deadly tests that pit them against each other in battles of wits, endurance, and physical strength, which candidate emerges at the end, bloody but alive?

Obama!!!!

I thought that given how the questions after 42 were "optional" they wouldn't have been set up so as to affect the results and as such that'd mean they weren't used to determine political views...

If we're suggesting alternative quizes, I'd like to suggest the Political Survey. The link to it is in my signature somewhere.

The middle one, with Pragmatism in the name.

Well, I scored as social / economic liberal (social first, economic second). That seems about right.

That puts me as a socialist.

Only problem I see is that they've naturally put libertarian and capitalist as opposites to totalitarian and socialists can't be anarchists. So a few errors on that part. (Most capitalists in my country are totalitarians, most socialists are anarchists).
