Whic sci fi crosses would be the funniest or coolest?

I have a friend that is convinced that the new Battlestar Galactica is a prequel to Firefly.

I can't think of a good one. Doctor Who and Star Trek I guess, since the Star Trek people are always so insistent that people explain themselves and the Doctor doesn't do that so much. Or Red Dwarf and anything...

I don't know about Battlestar Galactica as a prequel to Firefly, but there is a Firefly in Battlestar Galactica. I think it was probably a joke or something, but just by coincidence I watched that movie on monday as I stayed home with a sick child.

Leto (at the beginning of his transformation) from Dune plopped into WH40k would just be cool. If you brought along his father's empire, too, you could just have an entirely new human empire, though! (Edit) Oh....THOUGH, the Shriek versus Leto would also just be awesome. Hell, any of the prescient Atreides within the Hyperion universe would be cool. Fuck, I need to find those books again and re-read them, actually...having trouble remember Endymion and the other one.

Funniest would probably be Dr. Who crossed with damned near any of the big scifi franchises. Dr. Who and Star Trek, as was said, would be great. And Star Wars would also be funny....light saber vs. the sonic screw driver or whatever it is. =p

I can't help but recall the Star Trek: Voyager episode where they re-enacted scenes from a 50's sci-fi serial drama, 'Captain Proton'. :)

When Fox Mulder left the X-Files, he should have been replaced with Special Agent Dale Cooper.

Slowly the whole Twin Peaks world could have merged with the X-Files universe to make a sweet mixture of awesome craziness.

It's a gag, there's a Millennium Falcon (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Millennium_Falcon) in First Contact (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Star_Trek:_First_Contact). Little jokes the CG guys play. It's at roughly 9:40 into the movie, bottom left side of the cube. It's obvious what it is when he's moving, but still frame you never see it clearly.

I suggest Plan Nine from Outer Space and Dune. You could call it Iraq.

Doin't drag mne in, as it'd probably be Zergs + (insert some scifi hentai universe).
