And once he'd seen it, he messaged me with this:

"Ahh, that's amazing! Good luck!!

Max."

You can watch it, too — here — http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-DAUDtxmILQ

Fully support participatory politics - not so sure about your presentation, a little stilted and although style shouldn't come into it, charisma counts and I don't think yours comes across.

I'd suggest a nice leather armchair, a roaring fire with a picture of a scene from the civil war over the top, possibly with an American flag being raised.

Absolutely have a small dog on your lap and a glass of whiskey in your hand.

Then - rehearse, rehearse, rehearse - until you can memorise your script backwards - that will make it come across a little more natural as opposed to a Stephen Hawking rip-off.

Otherwise, good luck, I googled 'write-in president' as well as check on Wikipedia but no luck - if anyone can point me to a good explanation, well I can't vote in the US anyway so I doubt it will affect much.

Just my 2c

A write in candidate is someone who is not *officially* on the ballot, however is hoping to get at the very least a large block of voters to literally write his name in on the ballot. Most states have ballots that have a place where you can write in the name of pretty much anyone one you want to vote for(That is capable of holding that office), regardless of whether or not they are an official candidate, or officially on the ballot. Of course, I have never heard of a write-in getting any substantial amount of votes, or even enough to get a mention on the News as an odd quip for "laughs", so to speak.

Anywho, good luck. Not to be to terribly critical, but you're going to need it(For the simple fact that there is pretty much no way a write in candidate can win with our system, or really any other national system-local is a bit of a different story, however).

Thanks for the explanation :)

Agreed that it's hard to be critical of someone who's doing something though I have to ask how much - I mean, I can put up a video and say vague things about safety, heroes and etc.

...and if one wants Internet support, one should be prepared to take in all the criticism, advice and thoughts possible, since that it what the medium excels at. I'm sure there's a wealth of policy thoughts in the UN section as well if one can be ass'd to wade through it all.

Finally, no site outlining policy and etc.

Needs moar information!
