What really irks you? Is it racism, social injustice, violence, or perhaps freedom (I mean, if thats what your into...)?

For me, it's freedoms being trampled upon. Yeah, I might be an underaged student, but I still think I should be able to hold a banner up advocating drug use to support an importaint religious figure.

People hating me for unjust or petty reasons, anything involving cults and brainwash, women abusing men and men abusing women, witnessing/hearing about dehumanizing and sick crimes (ie rape, oing mad and killing your own daughter) and mentioning drugs has a red flag/bull effect on me. When I get going as many NSGers know it has a Dr. Jeykll Mr. Hyde effect on me, I turn from moderate and reasonable to hardcore, nazi, gun toting vigilantes, out to destroy those who piss me off.

Bullies. Seriously, when I was working as a cashier in Macy's I nearly vaulted over the counter when I saw a man kick a toddler in the butt so hard the kid fell. As it was, there were cops there to drag the moron off pretty fast because I went ballistic and forced my boss to call.

As far as the rich white people comment goes I simply despise the inequality I see around me. For example Detroit is one of the poorest cities (mostly African-American) in the US but surrounded by one of the wealthiest counties (mostly white) in the US. I don't see the justice in that

People attacking my friends.

People attacking people based on any sort of idiotic bigotry.

People having bigoted views in general.

People who espouse bigoted views.

The fact that it can be hard for me to keep myself from wanting to despise people with bigoted views rather than despise their actions alone.

People who think some people can't change.

People who think rehabilitation is not worthy.

People who take an opinion and presume that it MUST BE VALID AND UNIVERSAL and then try to force it on others. (Example: Linus and Lucy.)

People who lack compassion.

Hypocrites.

People who are willfully ignorant.

People who operate under inconsistent frameworks. Be it a scientific, ethical, religious, philosophic, whathaveyou framework, if a person isn't operating under one consistently any worthwhile or intellectually honest debate is impossible. How can you argue with someone who'll go, "Yea...I see your point and that's probably true, but I'm sticking with this and that because it just feels right to me." When your fucking intuition tells you North is actually South, do the god damned poles suddenly switch? If so...well...ok, you have me there and my understanding of the world has been flipped all topsyturvy ('the hell does that expression even actually mean?).

I need to get the mentality that the pros apparently have, to just basically scattershot my pix and throw everything out there. I have a rather huge list...

*ahem*

Bullies. Unlike in Kats situation, I was the one being bullied and I beat the guy back in the middle of an english class. Dumb teacher refused to kick the kid out because she thought it didn't make sense for her to keep on making him leave the class every day... He nor anyone else layed a finger on me after that and were down right scared when I merely say "you're starting to annoy me" :D

Bush Administration- I'm a democrat, so I have an semi-auto bias opinion here. I can't name one democrat who likes the Administration.

Terrorists- 'nuff said. God forum banned for it too...

Religious fanatics- be it terrorists, Jehova Witnesses (sorry, personal family grudge), edit: People who impose thier religious beliefes on you when it's against the constitution, ect

Racist Groups (KKK, Nazi, ect)- Self explanitory

Iraq

Hypocrites

Teachers who/will force me to write instead of type. Hell, I had to have one of my own teachers decifer my notes Junior year HS. Not my fault my family history consists of bad handwriting...

My Family- Probably would make (if there is such a list) America's top 100 messed up family histories

North Korea

Putin

People who say PC's are better than Mac based upon no real opinion or from using an older modle predating the G4 processor. If it's because you're used to it, fine. You like the software, fine. You like the difficulty of dealing with viruses because it makes you feel like you accomplish something, fine. Both computers have their own uses. PC's are better for business and gaming where as Mac is for artistic stuff. So if you like PC's because of their business programs, or video game availability I'm cool (the only reason I hate macs too...). But if you say macs suck because you have only used the outdated macs (G3 and prior)...

People who say "this was ripped off of this" when it was the other way around. I've heard people say Lord of the Rings were coppies of Harry Potter and Narnia. I've also heard ST is a copy of SW. Warhammer 40k coppied StarCraft. Warhammer Fantasy coppied WoW. C'mon! How can something which was created in the early 80's (predating even the first mac) be a copy of something which was created nearly a decade later (same for 40k and Star Craft).

People who complain about writing one page essays. Seriously, what's the big fus? I have it worse than you lot for being a script writer. A short story has to be between 5-60 pages total, and a feature script has to be 90-120 pages (following the one page a minute rule). You got nothin' to complain about.

Tau- An alien race in Warhammer 40k who rely on high technology and long range weaponery to win, and retreats. Bunch o' pansies.

WWII/Holocaust deniers- it happened. We have documented accounts, recorded videos, and people who have lived the war. I don't see how people can be so blind...

I guess that's enough of my rant of the day

2) nanny state laws. and as a corollary, funding progressive programs with taxes on vice (cigarettes). and the "isnt it a crying shame" laws that seek to address an unaddressable problem by legislation (ohmygod this family's house burned down because the chimney sweep left rags in their chimneys. did you know that there is NO federal licensing for chimney sweeps? we must pass chimney sweep regulations and set up a national chimney sweep registry!)

Here's another thing that gets me going. In my close circle of friends, we're all pretty left of center. We usually get together a lot and play dungeons and dragons, hang out and BS.

What's bugging me is that everyone, when it comes to sharing, decides that it's my stuff that needs to be shared. If there's not enough dice, everyone always reaches to my dice, even if someone else is closer. Everyone mooches off my stuff first.

When I ask people about this, there excuse is "Well, you're the communist." That really doesn't cut, since there are two anarcho-communists in the group. Two others are self described socialists, and two others are democrats. So, why does my stuff the only stuff being redistributed?

I really don't get it. Something is amiss here. Another thing that kinda bugs me is that I'm the one who everyone makes a big deal over me being an anarchist. There's another anarchist in the group, and he doesn't get ribbed over it. I don't see why they think it is more shocking for me to be an anarchist then my other buddy.

That's not much of an excuse....

Next time, try stealing their dice, and call it "expropriation." ;)

I'll try that. :p

Are you loud about it?

Not any louder than Nick is (the other anarchist). I talked to him about it, and we reached the tenative conclusion that people expect it more from him because he's bisexual, and people don't expect anarchy from me because I'm straight.

That's really the only substantive difference between the two of us. We both have fairly similar personalities, and very similar intellectual levels. He graduated magna cum laude from his rather large high school, and I was the valedictorian of my much smaller high school. We really aren't that much different. I'm still kinda at a loss.

Dude...that's like...way...

The cultural assumptions and values implicit in the actions and opinions of your friends...are like...wow. Wow.

Tell me about it. The process of change is slow, but I think that they'll behave sometime before we die.

I don't think that's the reason... I'm a bisexual anarchist who's loud about his political views, and people call me crazy for it all the time.

I understand what you're saying, but what we were thinking is that since he was already openly bisexual, people kinda just wrote it off as "that's Nick being Nick". I don't know if perhaps I put off the air of being a "straight laced person", (I'm anything but), or what. That was the only conclusion we could reach with the available data.

I don't see why they think it is more shocking for me to be an anarchist then my other buddy.

lol thats funny. :D

Please don't tell me you drew that conclusion from this clip.

I hate it when stupid people say Bush is bad and America is evil. Those idiots need to take a good look at their own country. You know, we're not perfect, but we're a hell of a lot better than any Middle East country, African country, or European Socialist countries. I mean, come on, we're not the ones dissolving into civil war or having riots every few months, are we?

Thus we are stupid for having dissenting opinions, where have I heard that before.

Yes, do look at those 'European Socialists', marvel at their infrastructure, and weep at how the United States has just been placed 21st in internet infrastructure (Luxembourg just passed us to 20th I believe, and, yes, all countries higher on the scale are first world "socialist" countries, by your [assumed] definition)
