Funnily enough, while I was over at college the other day I heard this nigh-ear drum bursting sonic boom. It was crazy.

But yeah, I think of those when I think of sonic booms. Before that, it was the attack in Pokemon, which I see someone else already said! :eek:

The term "sonic boom" to me means a "sonic boom." :p

As in, the loud rattling "bang!" I hear/feel when the Space Shuttle lands at Edwards AFB. You really do feel the shockwave.
