Okay, I while I love all animals and nature, I guess my favourite would be dogs, since they can interact with me/us, in a manner in which other pets and so on cannot do.
My last dog, that sadly died recently, loved everyone, however, you get some dogs that, for whatever reason, do not like men. Perhaps, for example, they once lived in a house were the man was abusive, and they vibed that, and the fear of men remained with them (understandable), and turns into fear aggression.
So, bit of an obscure question, but have a go anyway.
I knew a dog like that.
Didn't mind women.
If a guy came near it, it was very hostile and aggressive.
How does the dog determine between a man and a woman?
It would be absurd to suggest that it make a judgement based on dress code, for all sorts of reasons.
Therefore, it must either be voice tone, or a different 'smell' that the two genders give of.
Or both.
So.....
In theory, if a dog were aggressive to men, yet not women, how do you logically suppose it might react to someone that was a post op transexual, ie, someone that has had the operation, taken all the pills, etc, had the voice tuition that I beleive they get, and so on?
Would that dog STILL see the person as a man?
Or would it react to the person fine, as if it were a woman?
Thoughts?
