We clearly all hold a special place in our hearts for NSG (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/forumdisplay.php?f=1227). What other sites do people find useful, funny, insightful, etc., etc.?

Here's my list:

Google (http://www.google.com)-In addition to being a superb search engine, Google makes great maps, blogs, email, basically anything it beats Microsoft to.
Wikipedia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Main_Page)-The most reliable single source of information on the Web (not that that is saying much).
alphaDictionary (http://www.alphadictionary.com/index.shtml)-Good, clean, linguistic fun.
International Music Score Library Project (http://imslp.org/wiki/Main_Page)-It has lots of music scores, including some whose copyright hasn't expired in the US. Sketchy.*
Pandora (http://www.pandora.com)-There are probably better internet radios, but this one's pretty good. If you have it on a different tab, you don't even have to look at the ads.

EDIT: I should probably add: don't advertise sites. I'm not sure what this entails, but probably any competitor of NationStates is a no-no.

Actually, it stems from the creation of the Christmas Island domain; for a while, the island was offering free domain name registration to encourage the development of an internet infrastructure on the island.

Naturally, the internets took advantage of this and someone registered goatse.cx in 1999.

And from there, the story of "Eh", "Woah", alt text "stinger", "hello.jpg" and "giver.jpg" was born...
