I was quite dissatisfied with the other poll on this topic. It's flawed for two reasons, the first being that there are only a few of all possible religions listed and the results are public. I prefer anonymous.
I'm now going to attempt to make a better version of the poll that lists all the major faiths.
EDIT - poll added. The religion is by the class or type of religious faith it is.

Alright. I too, am religiousless, though I picked the bottom option because my religion just doesn't have a name.
Basically I picked all the things that seemed "correct" from other religions and applied them to my way of life.
Though I tell Jehovahs Witness that I'm a pagan/witch so they'll leave me alone. They're not suppose to interract with witches. ;)

I do not commit to any religion that i've heard of, though I admit my knowledge is shaky on a number of those in the pole above.
My only belief is that there is a form of fate, what guides it i do not know, and nor do i much mind. I am not sure which of the options in the pole would be most suitable.

What does this poll really tell us though? That there are less NSG people believing in God than a year and a half ago? That most Christians don't post here anymore? How accurate is the poll? How many puppets vote in polls?

Ruffy's can easily contain puppets and plenty of posters that are no longer active here.
Ruffy's poll only seeks to find out what percentage of us are godless heathens and who is gay for God. ;) Mine is to find a better break down along the lines of faith or lack thereof.
Sigh. Atheist and agnostic lumped in with deist.
Look, lack of belief in a deity is kind of a key freaking element of my belief system. It gets very tiring to see my beliefs constantly lumped together with belief systems that are fundamentally opposed to mine.
i believe there are all sorts of things no one knows a damd thing about and that no one needs to in order for them to do so.
i don't believe that any of the more powerful ones both know of our existence and simultaniously wish us any particular harm. i don't see how it would be very likely for our continued existence were that to be the case.
and i do believe, and feel i have myself experienced, something big, friendly and nontangable, that while it loves us and wishes us well, that may be where any resemblence between it, or anything, and what any organized belief claims to know about it, begins and ends.
i also feel very strongly the existence of lots of little, friendly and nontangable spirit critter-persons, many of whome love us and wish us well also. or again, at the very least, no particular harm.
i think they probably wish we'd stop tearing up their sacred countryside though.

Sorry, but you separated Abrahamic religions from (for instance) Indian religions, even though they are MORE similar to one another than atheism is to deism.
It's just a poll, and it's not really that big a deal, it just annoys me because this same thing is done in most religion polls around here. It's not a new and better poll if you make the same old mistakes.
I would have, personally, lumped Deist in with non-religious Theist.
Absolutely. That would have at least been somewhat valid in terms of a "category" of religious beliefs.

Deist to me seems to consider "God" to be irrelevant, so I thought it was closer to Agnostic, so I put it with it. Theist to me suggests that the person considered God to be important, even they don't ascribe to a religion.

Deism, iirc, is the belief in a supernatural entity responsible for the existence of the universe, but who has no involvement in, nor care for, the universe and/or humanity.
But that may be a flawed definition borne of poor understanding.
Edit: More to the point, the main objection to lumping agnostic/atheist with deist is this belief in supernatural entities. Which is why it is far closer to non-religious Theists than to either agnostics or atheists.
Double Edit: Hope that helps :)
