Nothing new as the government has been selling old missile silos and bases for years. If I had the money I'd buy it and turn it into some type of resort.

Finally a pre-built underground lair!

Swear to God I have actually been in this complex. My brother showed it to me while we were duck hunting years ago in the potholes by Moses Lake. The place is huge as they say but what they fail to say it is full of water parts of the year. Also it is ripped up fairly good. The central command structure is only partially there. Another note is that the area kids and Mexican migrant workers drink in the place. There is a ton of empty bottles, cans, assorted underwear and lots and lots of graffiti in Spanish.

Not that long ago, someone put all of Belgium up on ebay.

Maybe the government could turn the place into a prison or a charity could turn it into a homeless shelter.

It might work for a prison. As far as homeless shelter this place is way..... out in the country. Like I said I have actually been inside this particular place and it is in real bad shape. It would take millions to make into something worthwhile. This really would not work as a home because of the work needed to get it into shape and it is very very big. It would have to be something like a hotel/spa.

Isn't there problems with putting different ICBMs in silos not built for the type?

As long as the dimensions match and you change the launching software it should be a problem except all the modifications for hoses, wiring, etc.

You're not paying just to play, though. You could set it up as a park (or arena or whatever) and charge admission. It might be hard to turn a profit with a 2+ million dollar mortgage hanging over your head, though.
